There are many people, good people, who refuse to see anything that doesn’t support their belief system. The most telling example is related in the book Survival by Magda Herzberger
(
Groundbreaking Press - Survival!).
Her family, upper-middle-class Jews, suffered greatly because of the Nazi takeover. They had the opportunity to leave Romania. But, her father believed that his position in the community would keep them safe and he continued to believe that right up until the very end. It wasn’t until Magda, her father, and her uncle, were in Box Cars on their way to Auschwitz that her father begged her forgiveness, “I was wrong, we should have left. Please forgive me.”
Today we have others who also refuse to see “the handwriting on the wall.”
Seven years ago I shared an article where medical ethicists stated that a baby wasn’t human until it became self aware, a few weeks to a few months and that prior to that, killing the baby was no more a sin (and maybe less) than killing a dog or a cat. Here’s a link to the main article: (

I made it clear that this was the belief of progressives and that if they ever gained power we would see laws in America reflecting this belief. My friends disagreed stated that this would never happen. But the medical ethicists were not alone in that belief.
In 1993, ethicist Peter Singer, the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University, shocked many Americans by suggesting that no newborn should be considered a person until 30 days after birth and that the attending physician should kill some disabled babies on the spot.
1972, philosopher Michael Tooley bluntly declared that a human being “possess[es] a serious right to life only if it possesses the concept of a self as a continuing subject of experiences and other mental states, and believes that it is itself such a continuing entity.” Infants do not qualify.
American University professor Jeffrey Reiman asserted that unlike mature human beings, infants do not “possess in their own right a property that makes it wrong to kill them.”
Still good, honest, caring liberals refuse to see this progression, ignore the “handwriting.”
Within the past few days, Virginia Del. Kathy Tran was asked whether her legislation would let a pregnant woman who is dilating request an abortion if a doctor certified that the woman’s mental health was impaired. “My bill would allow that, yes,” Tran said.
The governor of Virginia supported her, suggesting that he would sign such a law.
The Governor of New York has just signed a law that allows late-term abortions under almost any condition. In addition, the NY penal code was changed so that an abortion at any stage cannot be called murder.
This attack on unborn infants at any stage of pregnancy is going on regardless of these facts:
• 81 percent of Americans are against abortions in the last 3 months of pregnancy
• 88 percent of Americans are in favor of a law requiring doctors to inform patients about alternatives to abortion before performing the procedure
The same blindness involves the attack on “innocent until proven guilty,” the right to face your accuser; and, on a barrier to enhance border security.
So, I ask my liberal, caring friends and relatives, “When are you going to beg for forgiveness, apologize for being blind, for not seeing the “handwriting on the wall”?
Will it be when your daughter commits suicide because she allowed her new born baby to be murdered by a progressive doctor, or at the funeral of your daughter who was murdered by the M13 gang, or when your son overdoses on drugs brought here from Mexico, or when your daughter is raped by a gang of Muslim men who believe that any woman dressed, in their opinion, inappropriately, is begging to be raped, or when your son, accused of rape by a girl whose attentions he rebuffed, is thrown out of school, loses his job, and is judged guilty by the court of public opinion without any proof at all.
Will it take something horrendous before you will begin to realize what is going on, before you realize that you are believing the lies being fed to you by the progressive media and evil politicians that are only interested in maintaining their power and could care less about the people who elected them to office.
We are in a war to protect our culture, our country, our sacred traditions. Yes, even to protect our constitution and bill of rights. Progressives want to change all of this, to gain absolute power over our country, our people, and all that we stand for. Everything is at stake, they are winning bit by bit while many of us, especially our politicians act like nothing is really going wrong.
The progressives don’t give a damn about public opinion, as is easily seen by the abortion issue, they trust the progressive media to change your views on these critical issues, to protect them from public scrutiny.
Sooner or later you’re going to have to choose sides, which side will you support? And, will you truly understand the ultimate objectives of the side that you do choose?
