I can’t believe that a president would want to separate children from their parents, but the worst thing is, trump had no plans to reunite families and it’s extremely sad! Will some of these young kids and babies ever see their families again?
It speaks to the mean vindictive petty nature of this president.

A lot of these kids were trafficked by the cartels so who knows where the parents are? We should do DNA tests on them instead of releasing them to pimps for prostitution. Trump has signed Executive Orders to stop sex trafficking of women and children. Strange no previous president bothered. Ivanka is the White House advisor and a big advocate for women and children in this administration.

C'mon ... there is stuff to be concerned about here but this ^^^ is not one of them. Until recently the vast majority of illegal immigrants were single men.
So what's with the caravans? Their purpose is to avoid the cartels by traveling en masse. That's also why - to the great fury of Trump - the Mexican government has provided assistance with buses and safe places to sleep. The previous pattern was for single men to scrape enough money together to pay for a cartel-affiliated coyote leaving families behind.
And whatever one thinks of metering, that's what exposes women and children to sex trafficking. The cartels target those who "do not play." Shelters in Mexico try to keep migrants indoors but that can be hard with the lengthly waits for their turn at the port-of-entry.
So, yes, some peal off and head for the border on their own then turn themselves over to the first border patrol encountered. Better that misdemeanor charge than the alternative.

Still ... that the solution of this country was to discourage those from using our existing processes by taking away children is beneath us.

There are laws in this country that allow for asylum.
But trump makes up his own laws, he seems to be fine with rich white Europeans coming here illegally, but if a family from Central America trying to escape danger gets in, they go to jail and get separated from their kids.

No, supporting the invasion of other countries is Nazi-like policy, and that's what you're doing. In most times and places, invaders have been killed. The fact that you oppose even minor negative consequences for those who invade our country tells us all we need to know about you.
That's what happens when you are caught breaking the law. You are arrested, investigated, charged or released.
