No, I think the trump administration are the ignorant ones, only a dictator would take a young child from their mother. It doesn’t matter if they are here illegally, it’s just not right to separate families!
And you are assuming that the adults these kids were with are actually their parents. Many kids have been trafficked across the border. And you want them returned to the adults with no questions asked? What if they were returned to a child trafficker? Stop and think about that for a minute, will you?

I can’t believe that a president would want to separate children from their parents, but the worst thing is, trump had no plans to reunite families and it’s extremely sad! Will some of these young kids and babies ever see their families again?

Even my pastor reminded us in church, when parents commit crimes they are separated from their children, nothing un-Biblical about that .
Your rage should be directed toward these parents who use their kids as bargaining chips so they themselves can come illegally to our country. And as for the dead kids these parents should be held accountable for exposing them to the elements throughout this dangerous, unsanitary journey. If I dragged my child on a dangerous, criminal journey like this and introduced them to criminals and smugglers that would be child abuse and I would probably lose custody.....

I would actually prefer that Americans, not Mexican or other foreigners, work these jobs.

Give it a rest. I'm of Hispanic descent and don't feel "threatened" by Hispanics. I have no problems with anyone who comes here legally. That said, I have a big problem with illegal aliens, no matter where in the world they come from because they have no business being here.

You obviously haven't seen the deleterious effects of illegal immigration up close and personal, have you? I have seen it in my community and can tell you that illegals destroy communities and schools.
If you feel so sorry for them, then why aren't you and your husband moving some of them into your own home? Once in your home you can feed, clothe and pay for their medical care. Take it one step further and give them your SSN so that they can find work. Just remind them not to use your name with it. There is a despicable loophole in the law (and neither side has made an effort to correct this) that says it's okay if someone uses your SSN as long as they don't use your name with it. Someone right now could be using your SSN along with a different name and the SSA won't tell you. You only find out when the IRS comes after you for not paying taxes on a job you never held.
It's reasons like this^^^^that cause people to become angry that nothing is being done about illegal immigration. They don't care what race, religion or ethnicity illegals are. What matter is that illegals are parasites that take far, far more than they give.
Doesn't matter what you think about asylum seekers. The U.S. has laws that provide help for those seeking asylum.

Fact - before the events of ww2 there did not appear to be much in the way of refugee programs or status. Rather, the US would decide whether or not to accept immigrants. The Holocaust changed that.
What are the refugee laws? Do immigration-activists know what they are? Do they even care? I was under the impression that asylum requires religious or political persecution. The Jews under the Nazis would have qualified, but in what sense is a Guatemalan peasant the equivalent of a Jew during the holocaust?
If one Guatemalan peasant qualifies for asylum, shouldn't they all qualify?
I do not believe ANYONE from Latin-America should qualify as refugees. And if Guatemalans are refugees, they should apply in Mexico, not trek across Mexico to get to America.
It is rather obvious that they just want to come to the United States. I don't blame them. I would want to come here too.

IMO it is unbelievable to bring your children on a dangerous journey where they are ill, hungry, walking hours in 100+ degrees without access to clean water which leads to infectious diseases. Not to mention women traveling alone with children facing rape.
Most of the young children have no idea of where they are going or what a border is. Forcing these children to endure these hardships is what is sad and child abuse.
