True. And England doesn't have as rigid "rules" (like the unwritten "one drop" rule we have in America).
Rebecca Hall said in an interview she's "the whitest British girl" but her father is part black.
He didn't marry Rebecca....and they eventually broke up...but I was very surprised when Sam Mendes left Kate Winslet, and then was with Rebecca Hall. Ugh. (nothing to do with race, I just don't think Rebecca Hall is very attractive in comparison to Kate Winslet).
I have wondered if intermarring would "breed out " certain genetic disorders and diseases that are peculiar to certain racial groups, like sickle cell.
I'm a bit too lazy to read all the 28 pages of this thread, sorry. ^_^;
I saw this tweet from the actor Dean Cain, who performed Superman in the 1990s tv series "Lois & Clark: the adventures of Superman" where he calls out the website Comic Book Ressources for erasing mixed race Superman. https://twitter.com/RealDeanCain/sta...33242662797312
My spouse’s 5th great grandmother was mulatto according to the census records, and I definitely consider him to be white.
It doesn't matter what anyone considers themselves or others to be. They are what they are racially and genetically. No use in denying it. If one is of mixed race then that's what they are no matter how light or dark their skin is.

In recent years, America has become a nation of many different ethnicities and cultures. It is quite apparent however, that the rigid lines which once defined what it means to be "black" in particular --one drop of blackness, is now being erased.
I'm noticing that more and more mixed race (white and black) people for example, identify as mixed race, and not as "black," which is something that wasn't common in the past.
It's partly because more people are aware that the majority of the African American community are already a mixed group. Most AA have an average of like 20% European ancestry. Some people upon discovering this might label themselves mixed others still choose to identify as 'black.'
Our white DNA is like the T virus in Resident Evil. You brown folks should run and not breed with us! You will be listening to country music and chasing tornadoes and not even know why.
I have not one lick of White American blood and I like some country music.
Maybe you are the one who needs to educate yourself about them.
There is a reason they don't have two Senators.
I live in the UNITED STATES Virgin Islands (a territory like Puerto Rico, which I can see from my porch). Are we not part of “America” either when the US flag is actually part of our flag?
Oh yea...guess what passport we all hold?
