I'd say many of the posters in this thread do need to have their social norms challenged. Since apparently we can't even talk about the facts regarding sexual development without fear and horror.

I feel I was deprived in life. I always identified as a transgendered Black Labrador Retriever. When I assumed that identity I was expelled from classes and religious services for barking.
#Blacklabsmatter (Labs are the best dog breed, in my opinion). On topic, who in their right mind approves of these college courses? It's one thing that kids are being "indoctrinated" about their sexual identity but essentially teaching a college course on something Pedo Bear would approve of is really pushing it (pun intended).
I wont post the original title because ... well, Just Because!
I am not a prudish fellow.
I just believe that there are some words that DON'T belong in the same sentence!
I believe that everyone has to be made aware of what is going on in our schools and colleges but when I see this being taught in a Texas college, I am more shocked than I would be if it was a college in, let's say ... Massachusetts, Maine or California!
"To Freud, sexuality covers much wider than genital intercourse between a male and female. But whatever shape or form of sexuality one eventually takes, Freud asserts, it inevitably has its roots in the infantile sexuality, which is described in terms of sexual development in the first few years of a life of an infant. This essay will explain the concept of infantile sexuality in relation to sexual life of the adults and the neuroses made explainable by the concept. The criticisms and supporting arguments and examples by Freud will also be looked at."
Hmmm. Do you seriously think that infants aren't capable of feeling sexual pleasure? If you do, please explain at what age the nerve endings in genitalia begin to function. Show your work.
Way to miss the entire point. As with all this crapola masquerading as "education," this is yet another example of academics in the non-sciences attempting to validate their lifestyles and/or indoctrinate young minds into their weird belief system.
A younger me never would have said these things. I used to mock fundamentalists and believers, precisely because of their unfashionable opinions on matter like this. It turns, out they were correct. Leftists really do, time after time, try to sexualize children, for the reasons listed above. Observe someone like the thoroughly vile Dan Savage, who has carved out a career with this stuff.

They've created a euphemism for such people: MAPs. That stands for Minor Attracted Persons.
Now think about it for a second. You have folks who already argue that other groups are "born that way," and thus their behaviors are unavoidable. If they believe "MAPs" are "born that way," how can we hold them accountable for something inherent in them?
A college psychology class discusses psychology? How liberal!
Based on that article they discuss what ages some children may ask questions regarding sex and sexuality. Yes, children ask questions, they ask all kinds of questions.

So knowing about infant sexual response and discussing what it means in terms of human sexual development is pedophilia?
Ooooookkkkkkkaaaaaaayyyyyy...
