Parents are responsible. They brought them into this world. Their main job is to cultivate a functioning human being and this is a LIFE-LONG job not a 0 to 18 years old job. If they saw a problem then they need to address it. 2 of his girlfriend have come out stating that they felt that he would so something crazy.

People should think twice in procreating.

The issue is that:

People that have no business having kids are having kids. (financially, emotionally and/or mentally unbalance)

Parents are too busy with work, other responsibility, etc and someone else raises the kids (mass media, peers, etc.)

Parents have kids just to have kids and do the bare minimum.

Anyone claiming that the Dayton shooter situation is the same as that of the El Paso shooter is being thoroughly dishonest.

And you never hear anyone talk about the soft ball game where conservative politicians were stalked and shot.

there is no difference between either killer. they BOTH went on a cold blooded killing rampage, and between them killed 31 people. make all the excuses you want, but the reality is that both went out and committed a total of 31 counts of cold blooded first degree murder. neither shooter was a fan of trump.

but with all the mass shootings in this country over the last twenty years, why itrump the only one being blamed? there were several mass shootings during the clinton, bush 43, and obama years, and NONE of those presidents were blamed at all. and obama made plenty of divisive remarks over his term in office.

lets stop blaming other people for the actions a couple of deranged individuals. we are never going to get anywhere blaming guns, or the improper use of those guns, the guns, or on trump, or anyone else not involved in doing the actual shooting.

how many red flags were thrown up by these shooters over the years that were basically ignored?
The reference to accidentally meant his sister’s murder. The shooter may or may not have been aware he shot his sister.

Huge difference between these two mass shootings. One targeted a specific demographic while the other did not. El Paso is 80% Hispanic. There were 3000 people inside Walmart at the time of the shooting. It is reasonable to assume most were Hispanic. Shooter spent 10 hours driving to his target and had a lot of time to think about it.

As for Obama....there are hundreds of posts on this forum and no shortage of media that blamed Obama for the gun violence in Chicago throughout his 8 years in office.

Conspiracy theories emerge while bodies are still on the ground.

After every sensational mass shooting, there is a tendency to blame mental illness, prescription meds, bad parenting, single mothers, lack of religion, lack of prayer in schools, SSM, feminists, etc.

In terms of red flags, none would have prevented either of these shooters from legally acquiring a firearm.

He was seen on security cameras with his sister in a bar just an hour before he shot her and others. The fact that he liked Elizabeth Warren has nothing to do with the event.

Which means nothing at all. Warren has a lot of supporters and she doesn't spew out hateful rhetoric aimed at minorities or immigrants at every public rally.

Oh please. The derangement is all yours if you are trying to invent a crazed leftist shooter where one doesn't exist. That's simply a feeble ploy to protect Trump. I guess the Trumpers figure if you make up a story and repeat it over and over it becomes real.

It is good that you recognize Trump's responsibility for the El Paso shootings. I congratulate you on that understanding. Too bad (for you) Waren doesn't have a role in the Dayton shootings.

But still, the conspiracy theory begins. The "leftists" somehow identified this guy in Dayton and scurried in to scrub his history and internet postings of any political manifestos or tirades. They must have superpowers or a teeming bank of computer hackers hidden away in an undisclosed location poised to scrub the record of any damaging internet posts. Oops, they forgot to scrub the Elizabeth Warren stuff.
Trump was not responsible. The shooter alone owns it.

Trump’s rhetoric as it relates to illegals VALIDATES people who hate. 8 Chan and other forums enable haters to communicate and feed off each other.

The rally where someone in the crowd shouted “ kill them” was a lost opportunity for Trump. He could have made clear that was not acceptable at his rally. Instead he joked “ only in the panhandle” and in doing so provided validation to the shouter and crowd.

El Paso shooter viewed himself as a soldier and martyr, in a war. The shoot was fulfillment of his own narcissism.

Pretty ridiculous huh? Well, the left does have severe TDS and violent tendencies. So there it is.
Really?

I have heard some commentators doing so.

Most acknowledge and hold Trump responsible for rhetoric that VALIDATES blind hatred, nothing more or less.

Likely he won’t be spouting that rhetoric in El Paso, today.

America is going insane. I say this as an old lady. It seems all sorts of violence is now acceptable behavior in today's America. Just read that a 13 year was old slammed to the ground and his head cracked open at a Montana Rodeo by a man when the boy refused to take his hat off during the National Anthem. The kid had to be airlifted to a hospital.

Were his parents there? I can tell you that anyone who attacked my child, or grandchild, like that would have gotten his family jewels kicked and HE would have been on the ground.

Do you think a person like this should own a gun? All this has to STOP and NOW.

My bad for being non specific. I was speaking of the sister. Did he accidental shoot her or was it intentional?

Were the others shot to cover up shooting her, or was she collateral damage in his haste?

He killed his sister, and others as well.

Tragic.
