Greenland is an autonomous Danish territory, and the locals don't want to be part of any other country, they have their own Prime Minister and Parliament, and if anything are more likely to become more independent rather than be sold to form part of another country.

Greenland's head of state is Margrethe II, Queen regnant of Denmark.

Margrethe II of Denmark - Wikipedia

The people of Greenland and the Danish have made it clear in no uncertain terms that Greenland is not up for sale, and never will be.

What next a US bid for Canada.

Put Alabama on the market. The world could do with a laugh.

Trumpolini's state visit to Denmark in September will be so much fun. I hope they find a way to serve Greenlandic sea food at the state dinner.

I assume Trump will make some sort of threat, which is his usual negotiating ploy. I’m curious what that will be. A threat to cut off trade with Denmark wouldn’t work.

Maybe threaten them with the building of golf courses on the dunes of the Rabjerg Mile or the West Jutland coast?

We can easily change that. We'll let Canada have the Inuits and we'll take the land. Greenland will be a giant iteration of Svalbard but with warmer weather.

Default Trump calls off meeting with Denmark PM B/C she won't discuss sale of Greenland

Yes, Trump called off a meeting of the PM of Denmark because she won't discuss the sale of Greenland.

Seriously, has there ever been a bigger idiot or moron as President. Trump is an embarrassment to this nation and a total disgrace to the American people. In other words, a loser in every sense.
