Are you discriminating against those who identify as solosexuals? Figures. And I'll bet you're just fine with the LGBTQ so-on thing, right?
For some, "sex" is ejaculation. Period. You need to be a little more tolerant.
I didn't say they should be outlawed, or banned did I? Just call it what it is, masturbation, not sex. Go look up the definition of "sex" and get back to me. Well here it is.
Quote:

NOUN
(chiefly with reference to people) sexual activity, including specifically sexual intercourse.
So, knock yourself out, buy any masturbatory aid you need, but its not SEX.
Will never work in this age unless they make a child model .
that is where we are .
That is sad.
Makes me wonder also, if this catches on in the US, when the offended lawsuits will begin. Some women's groups will be offended because the dolls degrade women, some minority groups will be offended because its racist if the doll is a particular color, others will be concerned the dolls look under age, etc. etc.

Silly semantics argument. It is called a "sex robot" because everybody knows what that means. Besides sex is easier to spell than the other word.
Not my thing but also don't see why people are so offended or creeped out by them. Why does it matter if someone wants to get their rocks of with an imitation of a woman instead of an actual woman?

I think the thought of using them personally creeps some people out but no one cares if someone else want to use them. Personally I think they are creepy but I don't give a fig what others do sexually as long as it is consensual.
That is sad.

Probably true. Would it not be better that these individuals take out their frustrations and inner hostilities on some robot than a live human being?
If you have been divorced three or four times it’s probably a good idea to get a robot.
Yes or just stay single. After my second divorce I decided that was the wise choice. One does not have to be married to a person to have sex with them.
This might be a viable solution for men that are unfortunate enough to be stuck in a part of the world where man grossly outnumber women and finding a wife is nearly impossible except for the upper class. It could also be useful in some 1st world countries for men that are unable or unwilling to find a partner. I’m my opinion, almost any woman in the USA can find not only sex but a long term relationship if she chooses to do so. Not so for a small but significant number of men who are too shy, unattractive, dull, short or abrasive to do so. I’d say 5% to 10% of American men have literally no chance of ever finding a women that would be interested in them no matter what they do. The only downside here I can see would be cost. If I were a woman I’d get behind subsidizing sex robots for lonely guys because it would mean they would never be hit on by that ugly, short, fat awkward guy in accounting even again.
Only the upper class could afford or want to spend that amount of money on one of these robots.
