Said poster makes things up and ignores facts sometimes, I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for an answer. I already posted earlier in this thread the small % of consumer spending that actually goes to Chinese made goods.
Almost all of the tariffs cost are being absorbed by China right now. If China can't continue to adsorb the tariffs costs (they can't indefinitely), and prices rise, the supply chain shift out of China will accelerate. This is what China is desperately trying to avoid, and why they are willing to absorb the tariffs cost with direct subsidies, and in currency devaluation.
Make no mistake, we are winning the trade war.

Saying that prices increase for many reasons is a blatant lie? You're the one wasting our time with your politically-biased agenda economics that ignore the longstanding tenets of economics that have seen prices rise for multitudes of factors, even in the complete absence of tariffs. The intellectually deficient and dishonest approach you have espoused and supported is revolting. Good riddance to you.
