Remember Mitt Romney about the 47%? I wonder if congressman Tom Malinowski did the same business class where Romney was? I saw that article from the Daily Mail along a vlog from timcast on the subject. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ful-lawns.html
Quote:
A Democratic lawmaker told constituents that undocumented migrants were needed to mow 'our beautiful lawns', care for the elderly and do other tasks American citizens were too 'elitist' to do.
Democratic Representative Tom Malinowski was speaking at an event in the wealthy New Jersey suburb of Hillsborough when he made the comments.
The politician is running for a second term in New Jersey's swing 7th district, which has a long history of sending mainly Republican lawmakers to Congress.
The right hates the truth about all the immigrants working on farms, construction etc.
Much easier to not solve the problem and use it to motivate your base.
Of course, the biggest anti illegal hypocrites are often found in red states.... Just look at the food plant in Mississippi where ICE went after the illegals and didn't did a damn thing to the employers
This is what the Texas Legislature and DeSantis and friends also admit....right up front.
Why do you think it is news? It's only a bit humorous in the fact that so many immigrants now do skilled trades...
"Texas economist Ray Perryman in 2017 put the total net economic benefits of the state’s undocumented workforce at $290.3 billion in output (gross product) and 3.3 million jobs annually."
“Even if E-Verify worked perfectly, in the absence of broader reform, it would be an extremely effective way of killing the economy,” Jawetz said."
(head of immigration Com. in Texas Legislature)......
What is it about these statement you dudes don't understand?
"Republicans command sizable majorities in both the House and Senate.
But industries opposed are major contributors to the state Republican Party and individual lawmakers’ campaigns, which typically earns them influence on issues.
The GOP also tends to avoid enacting any regulations seen as hurdles for Florida businesses.
THIS INCLUDES LAWNCUTTERS....
Rep. Rick Roth, R-Wellington, a Palm Beach County sugar and vegetable grower, said E-Verify is warranted only if it is applied nationally to fight illegal immigration. But if states individually impose the requirement, it creates competitive imbalances that can hurt farmers, he said."
There you go. 4 Million total and the GOP claims they need them to be competitive. Period.
"Illegal" isn't a race. They hire based on how competitive the workers are, rather than by race. Quite the opposite of racism, wouldn't you say?
Well, it's somewhat racists against white europeans since it's factual they cannot handle hard outside work as well as many from S. of the Border.
I mean...some can. You can find the rare hard worker....but certainly not enough to do all the roofing in Florida after a hurricane.
I met a cable guy in Florida who had worked at the local window factory. He was an average white dude from the midwest who moved to Florida. He said he was promoted up the chain almost instantly...because he showed up and worked like a regular person. He said that the (largely white) factory workers there were notorious for drugs, booze, sloppiness and sloth....and that it was near to impossible for the factory to keep a decent workforce on a constant basis.
There is a reason "Andersen Windows" are from the north country.
Yeah, I agree - opposite racism. I see the brown dudes in 7-11 with their muscles bulging buying a drink and snack and have great respect. Then some "Florida Man" with tatts and a wife beater shirt walks in stinking to high heaven (often with kids) and loudmouthed....and I leave ASAP.
First we supposedly needed black slaves to "mow our lawns" and to displace and not pay for free market American workers. Next it was supposedly needed mass immigration from Eastern and Southern Europe to keep market wages down and displace American workers. Illegal aliens are just the current way to displace and not pay for American workers and also to displace American voters.
