It seems many believe all ~5 million square kilometers of the forest will burn to the ground. Fires happen, nature will work it out just fine and in a month or so no one will even be talking about it.

Anyways, we all breathe in the air that has been cycled through the Amazon rain forest and the less forest there is, the less oxygen and more CO2 there will be in the air. That's just a reality.

Do you not know that trees will grow back after the fire ? In most cases you get a better forest without all the dead underbrush. Kind of like the glaciers melting, the ice is useless but the water is fresh and can be utilized. But then Liberal Chicken Little wouldn't have anything to crow about.
