In the UK Boots is part of Walgreens, but you wouldn't find alcohol being sold, nor would you find alcohol in other large chains harmacy/chemist such as Superdrug, Lloyds Pharmacy , Well Pharmacy etc.

Walmart own the supermarket chain ASDA in the UK, and it sells alcohol as do other supermarket chains and local convenience stores/ off licences.
It is kind of strange that drug stores sell alcohol and tobacco products today, but its kind of a throwback to the old days, when this was the norm.

The local Walmart near me has been unable to date to get a Liquor License. I asked. The local Shop Rite does sell wine and beer (not hard liquor) in their Cafe Area of store but posts signs you must be 21 and over to enter.

PA has State Run Liquor Stores. Maybe they don't want the competition from Walmart, Shop Rite, CVS, etc., etc.?

There’s literally 1000+ items Walmart sells that’s more deadlier than guns/bullets, alcohol and hammers being a couple of them.
You can buy hard liquor at a CVS? I was shocked when visiting San Diego last year and discovered you buy hard liquor in grocery store. In Maryland you can only buy alcohol in a liquor store. So no beer in gas stations, supermarkets, etc. But have to say, the last thing on my mind going to a CVS is a bottle Jack Daniels. Let’s see, I’ll get some band aids, cough medicine, shampoo, and oh yeah a 5th of Grey Goose.

A lot actually.

Several thousand murders each year are the result of alcohol. Someone gets drunk or stoned then murders another, often in an argument.

In addition, several thousand more are maimed or injured.

Then you have drunk driving, where people are killed, rather than murdered, but it's homicide nonetheless.

Then you have thousands more that are maimed or injured due to drunk driving.

Then you have Millions of spouses and children who are physically or emotionally abused because one or both parents are drunks or stoned.

The economic losses due to alcohol are far greater than weapons.

In case you didn't know, the date and time of the Super Bowl was permanently changed, due to the high rate of spousal abuse and the high economic losses sustained that Monday following the game, which amounted to several $Billions as the result of alcohol consumption.

Many are on SSRIs.

Well, aside from the mass killers in D.C. They kill because they're drunk on power and are sociopaths.

Simple maths, you can work it out for yourself if you want to. Sixty times more likely! How many times more likely we it have to be before it's unacceptable to you? Or don't people's lives matter to you either?
