“People like me” are dangerous? Really we are only dangerous to the leftist agenda. We are dangerous to the idea that America is destined to be a socialist nation where white people and men are finally punished for their supposed transgressions. We are dangerous to those who would topple our social values and replace them with immortality and degeneracy. We are dangerous to those who would see God removed from our society as he was in the Soviet Union. Worse yet for the young leftist is the absolute fact that “people like me” are a huge majority in Red State America and red states occupy most of the south, center and much of the western US.

The leftists have to face the reality that we will never yield to their ways. We will never obey them even if they gain control of the federal government. We always have rebellion and secession as options in our efforts to resist the leftist evil.

We will move forward in a way that sees our nation, capitalism and traditional values restored. The future is not one of a socialist liberal America in spite of what many posters in here would like to see. We are a free nation, a Christian nation and a capitalist nation. We will stay that way.

As someone who was a kid in the 70s, a teenager in the 80s and an adult in the 90s, I prefer the present world, mainly because of information technology. You can hold in the palm of your hand a small device that can access most of recorded human knowledge (exempting things that are held in secret by government, etc.). Having known the world without this technology makes me appreciate it more. I can learn about almost anything I'm curious about, usually for free.

I find it stunning.

Oh yes. I am a little bit younger than you according to your description, but was old enough to experience all of that too. I had to use the paper card catalogs, encyclopedias, etc. Cassette tapes (Oh, I made my share of mix tapes from the radio) VCRs, corded phones, the beginnings of video games, the works. I remember when MTV actually played music videos

We got the Internet at the school library in high school and it was pure magic. Still is. I love having so much to learn.

Would you give LGBT people and other people who didn't want to conform to fundamentalist Christian values a chance to escape to Canada or would everyone be sent straight to the guillotine? What would be the punishment for a woman having sex out of wedlock? I'm sure the laws wouldn't be enforced equally for both men and women in your ideal society.

It really feels like we are getting close to something like the 1979 Iranian Revolution in this country. The U.S. (or parts of what is now the U.S.) may become the first fundamentalist Christian totalitarian state in modern times.

Good gosh you need to calm down. Most of us conservatives want things to go back to the way they were before PC, forced acceptance of gays, forced favoritism towards minorities etc. We want the socialist pipe dream put to bed for good and we want our freedoms guaranteed by the constitution respected.

No we don’t like gay marriage or men in the ladies room but NO we are not calling for anyone to be executed. We conservatives believe what you do in private is your own business. This for now is a free country and you may leave anytime you want but if you wish to go to Canada then that is up to them. I suggest that you STOP watching the Handmaids Tale it’s affecting your thinking.

Make no mistake though we won’t live under socialism or allow our freedoms to be compromised. I don’t care who or what you have relations with but I do care if you sit from afar and tell my state what laws to have, what I can say or think, try to take my gun or if you think what I earned should be redistributed. We ain’t having that. This is America and I will fight for America to protect it from the socialists, social justice mobs and other moonbats. Your side is the one telling others what is ok to say and think and what they can do. We are not, we just want to be left alone.

Wow....is this all you think about ?

I'd like to go back to gas being $1.00 a gallon. When 6 figure jobs (overtime) were available without a degree. Back before HR departments ran the company. When a job could be had over the telephone. A time with the best person was hired for the job...not one to fit a quota. When the US had a strong manufacturing base. When employers offered healthcare with a minimal contribution from the worker. When companies focused on making the best products they could produce, not the next quarter. When PC wasn't running rampant. When people didn't get offended so easily. When people didn't think killing their peers was a rational idea because they were bullied or an outcast. When sending jobs overseas was frowned upon.
