Nonsense. They'd get slapped with a malpractice suit so fast it would make your head swim.

Remember when conservatives tried to brush off the claim that the SC decision wouldn't affect women's abilities to seek treatment for ectopic pregnancies in states with draconian abortion laws? Looks like you can throw that wishful thinking out the window.
ectopic pregnancies are tubal, and the baby is most likely already dead, and the mother is in danger.... I dont see anyplace turning away someone in medical danger

you have one group ALLEDGING that hospital ADMINISTRATORS are doing this......

...and even IF, Texas outlawed all abortions...a tubal ligation is NOT an abortion

I call BS on this story

Are you saying the Texas Medical Association’s concerns are nonsense?

ANY medical professional or hospital administrator telling a doctor not to provide medical care for an ectopic pregnancy should be strung up on a yardarm. If they do, they are using it for political purposes to drive fear for their agenda, the patient be damned.

You might not, but the Texas Medical Association does.

AUSTIN — The Texas Medical Association wants regulators to step in after hospitals reportedly refused to treat patients with serious pregnancy complications for fear of violating the state’s abortion ban.

In a letter sent Wednesday to the Texas Medical Board, the association said it received complaints that hospitals, their administrators and their lawyers may be prohibiting physicians from providing medically appropriate care to women with ectopic pregnancies and other complications.

Nope.

What I’m saying is that the complaints are allegations.

TMA policy positions and the candidates they support are far more liberal than the medical community as a whole. The TMA is a pro-abortion group

All complaints are technically allegations, so ok, have it your way.

Are you saying the Texas Medical Association’s letter to the Medical Board contains complaints that are without merit?
