They're going into session at 9 am today (10-24) & not coming out until a Speaker's named; if the Right leaning media's correct.

Pray for the Freedom Caucus Conservatives: Donalds, Palmer, Johnson (not the golfers, the Congressmen)

If none of these 3 become Speaker, expect more of the same...$33T in debt, & wasting $750B/yr on interest.

Looks like the freedom caucus may have been outplayed. RINO Tom Emmer has been put forward by McCarthy and people seem to be coalescing around him. Ukraine breathes a sigh of relief. May the Forever Wars continue, ummm....forever!

I kind of like Donald's. And because I like him, he probably won't stand a chance.

And if they do become speaker, we can expect $32.5 Trillion in debt and wasting $725B / year on interest.
Yeah, you might call me cynical.

I don't know these guys and don't follow this as closely as some of you. But if you say Donalds has a killer instinct, I'm now rooting for Donalds. No RINO's !!!!!!! The left can not be reasoned with.

The speaker needs to have a killer instinct, and Donald's got it, just as long as being speaker doesn't get in the way of his presidential campaign.

Vietnam part deux. I thought we learned our lesson...guess not.

I hope the Freedom Caucus stays united and shoots down ANY RINO...including Emmer.

Conservatives have all the momentum, & they need to keep it going, and not relent.

I prefer Donalds.

I am not sure about Donalds. I live in the adjacent district to him and his wife is starting these virtual reality schools across the country. Not VIRTUAL schools. VR schools. I have spoken to people in locally about it. Some have questioned HIS motivation. Personally, I am not a fan of the VR schools concept at all. I was kind of horrified when someone at an event for this organization described it to me. There was also a big thing going on between his wife and our school board chair. They got into a legal tussle over a charter school that they opened. The chair claimed Donald's wife's faction tried to take the school over and boot her out. It's a complicated situation and I have only lived in this area for a couple of years. EVERYONE has chosen a side and it's hard to know what really went on. I have heard the school board chair's side of it directly from her mouth but not Donald's wife. And I have also learned our local press is so biased that you can't depend on their telling of events.

Join the club. My favorites running in DC have not won anything since the 1980's...40+ years of losing.

Conservatives have been on a long losing streak, while the country racked up $33T in debt.

Its the Conservatives turn..what else does America have to lose? We're driving over the cliff w/ all the rest.

Any fascist election rigger will do, right OP? Of the nine candidates, only two are qualified to even serve in Congress nevermind serve as speaker of the House. Those two are Emmer and Scott. The others provided aid and comfort to insurrectionists after swearing an oath to uphold the Constitution so are therefore ineligible to hold public office at the state and federal levels. Before picking a speaker, the Republicans should join with the Democrats and expel the 139 constitutionally ineligible members from the House. Then they can pick a speaker among the true patriots who actually take their oath to protect and defend the Constitutional seriously.
