Putting things gently, to think that Barack wears the pants in that marriage is . . . interesting. Michelle won't run because she doesn't want to return to that life. Thankfully for the country as she is racist to the core, she enjoys her relative freedom and isn't power hungry like Hillary is.
There is something else that bothers me. I would never vote for a family member for an office that was previously held by a family member.
One thing that is anathema to our system of government is family dynasties. It violates the principle behind term limits, and means people are casting their vote based based on name recognition rather than policy and principles. There's numerous reasons if you look at the long term .
I saw this when Hillary ran. Plus the number of people who voted for her simply because she would have made history by being the first woman president.
Now, she's grown fat on her grifting life, and there's no reason for her to change that.
Besides, this woman has literally accomplished nothing meaningful in her life. She's been disbarred, contributed to the gentrification of Cabrini Greene, and honestly, cannot hide her racism.
Keep in mind that she would be DESTROYED in a debate. She's not all that bright, and can only deal with softball questions.
And sure, there's probably SOMETHING to the emasculation that Bubba Clinton felt that has rubbed off on o' Borat Obama. It's bad enough he has to constantly remind her to put the toilet seat down, but it would be far worse for him to call her Mr. President.
I realize that when you hate someone enough, everything they do is offensive. But you need to check your sources if you believe she's been disbarred.
Exactly, and a near definite if the felonious dictator wannabe wins the GOP nomination. Say what you will but Michelle Obama has integrity and a love for our democracy with the sensibility to know if she can run to win will, in order to protect the future of the country for her children. If nothing else this rumor was leaked now because it's apparent now that they will be running an emergency replacement candidate to be selected at the convention. They're testing the waters to see what type of reaction she'll get including Republican responses. Next month it will be Newsom. After that who has nationwide name recognition? They're plenty of high profile candidates in their party but they are too extreme but they will want the job.
Sleeping in bed with a president doesn't qualify you to become president. It's not like there is some sort of presidential osmosis process that takes place at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
I don’t get conservatives obsession with Michelle Obama. She has never expressed interest in running, Democrats don’t want her to run, why do you keep bringing her up?
The Obamas have made more money outside of office than 8 years as POTUS.
Secretly, she probably does want to run, but Kamala has shown how bad of an idea that would be.
