But... at least the Clinton folks showed up to testify. For this bunch (i.e. Bush's brain -- Karl Rove), you have to actually catch the bunch on the street and get 'em 'pitchfork and torch' style as 'Executive Privilege' is now a retooled Dictatorship in this country. Thank the lord that the judiciary hasn't gone quite as insane with power yet...

I figured one of you leftists my respond with something like that. Typical.

You are all so predictable. You come unglued and let loose with all kinds of vitriol hate and lies at any suggestion that the Bush administration is anything but the what you say it is. But when one of your own is in the White House, there can be no wrong. Everything is rosy, and everything and anything goes.

Clinton, a real scum bag, was God, as far as you're concerned (but since most leftists don't believe in God, that would be "a god").

The truth is that the left today are Socialists. That is what makes them so dangerous, and a threat to our liberty. It is also why they spend so much time bringing false accusations about Republicans and Republican administrations.

Truth is, our founding fathers were "right-wing nuts", and you would have them all up on charges and creating scandals where none exist, just as you have been doing with Republicans, were they to come back today.

Why does William Jefferson, Democrat, LA still have his seat? Why wasn't Harry Reid forced to give up his position as Senate Majority leader? And WHY is Robert Byrd, Democrat, WV STILL there after all these years? Tell me, WHY?

Do we wonder why we have such biased reporting in the newspapers around the country, and on the TV networks? It's because they are all filled with former Democrat Party operatives and staffers.

Thank GOD for Fox News!

It has been said that all Ted Stevens-R, AK, needs to do to save his seat is to become a Democrat.

Democrats are anti-capitalist (most are Socialists as is the current Speaker of the House — Oh, you didn't know that?), they are anti-America (why do they all go around apologizing for America?), anti-war, which means they will not defend this country in a situation like we had on 9-11. I honestly don't know what it would take before they would defend this country. They hate it, so they would probably simply surrender, as they want us to do in the war on terror.

In my view, Democrats have little to offer Americans. Correction: They have nothing to offer.

The Democrat Party is bankrupt of new ideas (what's new about anything Obama yo Mama is offering? He's offering a return to Carter era policies, and we all know how great things were under Carter, don't we — or weren't you around then?)

George Bush is a man of integrity, and he will be remembered as one of the great presidents of our time. He's no Ronald Wilson Reagan (possibly our greatest President), but he is not the lying, scum bag, ass that Clinton is.

Your hatred for Rove stems from his brilliance as a strategist, because he has snookered the Democrats over, and over again.

Though he has willingly testified before Democrat investigative committees over and over again, they have not been able to charge him with anything. This angers them even more.

By-the-way, Clinton used the "Executive Privilege" defense more than a few times.

You'd know wouldn't what a conservative is wouldn't ya?

If you were you'd hate Bush and McCain; want to repeal the patriot act; all of Bush's executive orders; and pull out of Iraq immediately. Lastly, you'd want to see legislators put forth a bill that would ensure this sort of gross misuse of power would never happen again. Small Gov't right? Riiiiighhht... you're not conservative. Shhhhhhhhh....

Dude, you are so off i don't even know where to begin, but I'll try.

1. Clinton was not god, and everything before that is just nonsensical, baseless conjecture on your part.

2. Truth is, the left has always been more socialistic. But so is the right now thanks to Big War/Big Security/Big Exec order Bush. My contention has always been, if we're going to get all the bad of socialism (i.e. Homeland Sec, Patriot Act, Dir 51, revamped FISA, etc.), then we might as well get some of the good (universal health care, etc.). But if a conservative like Paul were running, I'd gladly forgo all of that in favor of a scaled down Fed and greatly enhanced states' rights.

3. There's no shortage of allegations to our current administration, because they are dirty and rotten, plain and simple (see Ockham's Razor). You sound like you've been in a Fox News vacuum for the last 8 years, LOL.

4. Our fore fathers were the antithesis of Bush and McCain. You are seriously confused. <-- D'oh!

5. OT, and moot.

6. So, former dems have taken over Fox News... and made it... staunchly Republican? Wow?!

7. Remember as a good pres? Pffffttt... then why is he compelled to hide his records? Executive Order 13233 anyone??? Why is the WH shredding bill so high now? What else is he hiding and how much is enough? Bush will be remembered as the worst President in history as innumerable polls (inc. Fox!) already indicate (see chart). The last paragraph of his legacy (or lack thereof) will read of his House Judiciary impeachment proceedings and the long list of allegations he and his cronies were up against. He will also be remembered for lying to the American people about Iraq and invading a sovereign nations under knowingly false information. He will be remembered for all the troops and private citizens he killed over there. He will be remembered for his regression of civil liberty, states' and human rights, and habeas corpus and for his violation of (or rather, retooling) of Geneva Convention POW rights, He will be remembered for leaking Plame's identity, pardoning Libby; creating a huge deficit from a surplus, sinking the USD trade rate and hyper inflation on his watch [see chart], revamping FISA to extinguish any connotation of privacy in the constitution and give big Gov't (and business) free reign over our communication; unprecedented number of [rotten] executive orders (see DIR 51) and signing statements; a time with exponentially more borrowing from the Fed Reserve than any other in HISTORY [see chart], and lastly 'retroactive immunity' for the one egregious violation of international law that the international community may be able to hold him accountable for. etc. How is any of this in line with traditional conservatism??

What are you smoking?! I need some!

8. So, Rove is indemnified from congressional requests to testify and even a subpoena? The guy is so dirty... it speaks worlds that supposed 'conservative' would stand behing such a rotten human being.

9. Bush has REDEFINED executive privilege. C'mon?! Puff, puff, give... Clinton can't touch his record with a 10 foot pole. BTW, look at chart (clinton/bush) which only validates my original comment in that people care more about infidelity than attacking a country under false pretense and killing hundreds of thousands.

I don't know why I'm even telling you this... usually with your ilk it's in one ear, out the other... so anyway... thank the almighty you and your bunch are in the extreme minority in this country. we may be able to salvage this place just yet before we go down in a ball of flames like every 'Great Nation' before us...

[Sigh] Why do I spend my time trying to educate those who would not listen; doing all this homework you'd prefer not know and purposely avoid; all the while YOU effervescing a willingness to let our nation go down the drain all the while supporting the villains and tyrants of our time with open arms... I gotta get outta here! I don't think my hard work and dedication to this country is appreciated by folks like you. I'm on a mission to bring this country back to its core values... you, well...

Speaking of 'exec orders', hallelujah!

The Raw Story | Senate bill would restrict Bush from secret executive orders

And this link sums up (pretty well I might add) why many 'actual' conservatives are swinging to Obama this year.

Who would want to repeal the Patriot Act? It has prevented several terrorist attacks.

What "gross misuse of power"? Why repeal the patriot act (which really didn't have much of anything new in it)? What executive orders of Pres. Bush would you repeal and why?

C'mon. Give me something. All you've given me so far are gerneralities, and the same garbage the left puts out. Why are you different from them?

Pull out of Iraq immediatley (meaning, surrender to the terrorists)? Why would we want to do that? We are winning. And Iraq will be an ally, which was part of the reason for removing Sadam. What bennefit to America to surrender? That is just nuts!

See, you sound just like the Democrats to me.

I'm not wild about McCain; but, the alternative is anathema to me.

I'm not absolutely wild about Bush either (he's no conservative), but at least when it came time to defend the country, he did. The Democrats wouldn't have, and Obama bin Laden wont either. But, at the same time, I don't think Bush is the evil person you seem to think he is, nor is his administraton.

Just what are you anyway? I don't see you and I on the same page, and I definitely don't see you as "conservative" as you claim. You sound too much like the libs. Who would you choose, if you could have anyone you want for President? Give me a reason to like you (politically — I don't have it in me to hate anyone, really, though I may strongly dissagree with them).

I am a Reagan Conservative (don't know who might have come up with that, but that suits me fine).

yes, I'm on a top secret mission to infiltrate (and provide intel/recon) on this forum... shipmate.

Edit: After seeing your last post where you purposely ignore knowledge and circumvent the facts whilst steering this ship more off course, I say to you omit: mate -- insert:wreck.

Good day, ship-wreck.
