CNN said just the opposite - that people were respectful.
I was watching MSNBC and when this started, Keith, Rachel, and Chris were saying how disrespectful it was....also when the crowd starting booing Bush.
But guess what? It's America, and if we want to boo the president, we have that freedom. I'm not too worried about he or Cheney's "feelings".....they didn't worry too much about ours.

Rachel and Keith were both pretty perturbed by what they heard. I think it would have been best to do nothing .. don't clap, don't say a word. Shunning is apropos for Wonderboy. Let's treat him like someone who leaves the Amish.

I didnt see that part, but I did see the segment (posted on youtube, linked here by a nice poster) in which, just after the helicopter lifted off, the people began singing; the anchors talked right over it, though you know there were a lot of eye-meets in that moment.

It was the first time that they were allowed to voice their disgust outside of a "free speech zone". If you can't say anything and be heard for 8 years, you have a lot of pent up energy to dispel.
As per Obama we need to move forward now. Let George live out the rest of his life peacefully. He is part of history now and let history be his judge. Now we need to move together, both sides, and channel our energy to fix what's broken.
That's strange. I have heard that every 4 years since like Abe Lincoln left office too soon. And every 4 years after that there were lies lies and more lies and more of the same ol crap. But the people stood by their man and asked Americans to stand hand to hand. Only to be let down and double crossed again.
Voters never learn.
I hope all your enthusiasm works out. I really do. But I know in my heart that everything will go right back to the same ol politics soon enough. I hope Im wrong but I have a perfect record so far of being right when it comes to judging political clowns.
I predict in a year or so the posts on this forum will turn to hatred of this man who says he will bring change but never told us what that change is yet.
Man I hope Im wrong. But I do want the Dictator bush in prison with a soon to come world wide TV viewing of his public hanging from the same rope that Saddam did for crimes against humanity.

You sure do have it right. Lets ask the families of those lost loved ones do to his dictatorship. This clown should not even be burried in Arlington. He should be burried in Baghdad since he seems to be so fond of it there.
If he was so concerned about liberating Iraq then perhaps he should have given them our Constitution. What the hell..........we ain't using it anymore.
