It is very difficult to believe the science; global climate is warming rapidly, when you are looking a foot of new snow and barely above zero temperatures at the beginning of March. I hope the globe gets warmer. I am sick of winter.
Even I understand that an increase in global temperature causes unusual weather patterns. I don't know where you live but how would you feel if global warming meant longer, harsher winters for you? Once it affected you in a way you didn't like, would you then "believe" it?
I bet a lot of this climate change fear mongering is from people in big cities who have no idea how resilient nature is.
That and follow the money, when there is big bucks to make off people that blindly follow someone screaming like a Sunday morning preacher, they follow like sheep instead of just stepping back and taking a deep breath and look at the big picture....
When the Great Lakes were covered in Ice, not once did anyone complain when it melted...

global warming is better than global cooling.... global cooling is bad for crops... infrastructure ...trees..vehicles do to salt on roads...and we burn more energy to boot... tell al gore to turn his air conditioner off we need some heat
Most animals are extremely well adapted to macro-evolution, more so than humans.
Wrong, and uninformed. I don't know where you got this information, but it couldn't be further from the truth.

Also wrong. Climates are changing. I will state it again: it is natural for climates to change. It is unnatural that it is changing so fast.

This is called a strawman. Al Gore's carbon footprint has nothing to do with whether or not climate change is a reality. The strawman is a common right-wing tactic to divert simple-minded people from the real argument and appeal to their emotions.
Most people that live in a big city, can't see anything that isn't affected by man, but you get out of that environment and see what the rest of the country looks like, you will start to see just how little we are as a species.
As an Alaskan, you should realize just how fragile nature is. Once, while hiking alongside a glacier in Alaska, I got lost because I couldn't get my bearings to match up with the map. I realized later this was due to the fact the glacier (which was my primary location guage) had receded over one mile since the map had been printed.
How does global warming cause extortion? Don't you really mean to imply that global warming as a political issue can lead to unethical and illegal behavior including extortion? Because wow, any issue in the political sphere can be connected to that. You can't discuss public education or city planning without hearing about under-the-table dealings. You are an astute observer of political machinations.
However, let's get back to the topic at hand: Climate change as a scientific reality.
