I am so disgusted with hussein obama and his hellish spending! I can truely say I hate this man and I have never believed I had the capacity to hate. He is destroying this country and is intent on breaking the back of America.

I would expect the Gov of Nevada would be grateful for $700,000 being spent in Phoenix, no matter where it came from.

"This was a training conference. The location was selected through the government's competitive bidding process. The facility that was selected was the lowest bidder, and we paid well-below the prescribed government rate.
-Leslie Walker, Regional Communications Director, Social Security Administration"

"A spokesperson from the SSA's regional office said the conference was essential, that teleconferencing was not an option, and that all 675 managers needed to meet in person."

Why would the Governor of Nevada care about $700,000 being spent in Arizona?

Perhaps this is how the stimulus works....fedgov. employees take vacations and spend money....LOL

I would believe an SSA official almost as much as I'd believe something I read exclusively on the internet.

For 675 people to meet, $700k is an incredibly good deal. For my companies annual meeting, it's well over $1M for about half the amount of people.

$85/night for a room at Biltmore, I wish I could negotiate that.
