I just think that those that offer nothing to the country shouldn't have a say. If someone's paying one dollar a year in taxes, because that's all they make, they get a vote.

This is how socialist regimes gain power. This is how Hitler gained power. This is how Stalin gained power.

When you make people dependent on the government, you control them.
I'd also like to see a quote from the socialist Obama saying he'll increase, or even maintain, welfare supports; Ive only seen transcripts of his speeches in which he gives the hard news, that people are going to have to stand up and take repsonsibility, no support is coming from him for not working. He *has* talked about small business incubators, is that what you mean?

So I missed what you're talking about. Maybe you could find it while you're looking up your state's % of welfare/handout recipients?

"Well yeah, but YOU did THIS, so what about that?" Deflect, deflect, deflect.......motto of the left. Why don't you throw a comment in about Bush too?

Whether you agree with them or not, the swift boat ads included soldiers that were IN THE SAME BOAT AS KERRY AND SAY HE LIED ABOUT MANY OF HIS ACTIONS. You either agree with those men, or a senator that's trying to win a job.

Regardless, there's nothing fascist about it. By using the word fascist in that context shows that you wouldn't know fascism if it hit you in the face, which is why you don't recognize what's coming down the pike.

If you're so against propaganda, you might want to check out the White House's new webpage about health care reform. Chocked full of it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Taking a stand against generational theft (i.e. democrat stimulus package)
Yet, he suspended his campaign to support a bill just like it. Hypocrisy at its best.

The election had nothing to do with McCain. This was a hate Bush election. Whomever the GOP candidate was, they would have lost. They wanted to elect a black man,...and that is the bottom line. Because, they could not pass Obama by..

Interestingly, your man McCain had this to say about the SwiftBoaters' first TV ad. "I condemn the [SBVT] ad, it is dishonest and dishonorable, I think it is very, very wrong". Not sure what if anything he said about the others.

The GOP had no one to run and they sat this one out, so that the Dems could clean up the mess the Rs had left behind. They'll sit on the sidelines and criticize and throw bricks, but not offer anything constructive, anything that might help the country. Then when crises are over and things are looking up they'll sail in in 2012 -- "look how much you suffered under Obama!" They still wont have anything constructive to offer, but that's not their goal.

And you all will fall for it, and they know you will because they know what works with you.

How could he wade into that mess, as a politician? More importantly as a soldier he couldnt commit to "true" or "false" because he wasnt there. In any case others did for him.

"The first SBVT ad was contradicted by the statements of several other veterans who observed the incidents, by the Navy's official records, and, in some instances, by the contemporaneous statements of SBVT members themselves."

In what way is 'dishonest' fundamentally different from 'untrue'?
