I wonder what the percentage of those on welfare and currently receiving handouts was that voted for Obama? Has anyone done a study on that?
I would bet that most of the Halliburton employees and defense contractors voted for McCain...can't get government handouts much bigger than these folks got.
If someone is working their butt off for $5 an hour, they should be able to vote. If they're living off the government teat, then they should not be able to vote, as that's a corrupt vote.

What's truly corrupt is allowing lawyers to make laws, all too often they make laws which benefit lawyers. Tort reform anyone?

Taking a stand against Judge Sodomayor & judicial activism
Taking a stand against nationalized health care
Taking a stand against Congressional luxury jet purchases & wasteful spending
Taking a stand against government land seizures
Taking a stand against generational theft (i.e. democrat stimulus package)
McCain unfortunately wasn't the clear conservative choice, but he certainly was the clear BEST choice!
Too bad he wasn't willing to take a stand on much of anything while running for president. It's easy to take a stand when you have nothing to lose.

Sigh....OK....for the slow ones, I'll explain. I'll try to keep the big words to a minimum.
If you're receiving money for nothing, and you have someone that gets up and promises to keep supporting you, most people will continue to vote for that person. Now, even if this person is lying through their teeth, and they have tons of horrible ideas that will lead to the demise of this great country, the people that are dependent on the govt will still vote for that person.
This is how socialist regimes gain power. This is how Hitler gained power. This is how Stalin gained power.
When you make people dependent on the government, you control them.

How messed up does your brain have to be when you believe that the concept of one person one vote is going to lead to the demise of the country that was founded on that very idea.
It is ironic for someone to bring up the specter of Hitler while arguing that a certain group of people should have their rights taken away and be treated as second class citizens not allowed to fully participate in society. A lot of people in 1930's Germany would say that your plan sounds very familiar.
Apparently more American citizens weren't educated on the true issues and bought into an Emmy-worthy "campaign".
