The guy is a dinosaur. His beliefs just don't fit America anymore, radicalism is done and past. Either he joins the 21st century or he gets left behind. I think Obama learned a valuable lesson from this humiliation and failure.
Why don't you recognize that they are more poor white people in this country than there are of all blacks combined?
So, if making things racial is acceptable, I'll step out on a limb and say poverty is a white issue as there are more whites in poverty than any other group in this Country.
Yeah, but it's illegal for whites to advocate for a white issue isn't it? The rate of poverty is much higher for blacks than whites. I don't believe there would be any blacks living in poverty if it weren't for racism. If the racists would just swing with Obama here on his agenda it would all but eliminate black poverty.
It's clear that White House advisor Van Jones is a combination of Rev. Wright and Bill Ayers.
Naw. Come on! Obama didn't know who Bill Ayers was. Obama never heard Rev. Wright say any anti-America, anti-white things. Obama didn't even know what Wright's church was all about. Weren't you listening when Obama explained all of this to you?
Now you're trying to tell us that you think just because Obama hires people who's ideology is in lock step with Wright and Ayers that he really did know who those folks were and actually agreed with their philosophies?
You think that just because Obama said he used to seek out extreme left-wing Marxists professors and other radicals during his college years and subsequently spent 20 years in Wright's church and had dealings with Ayers that he can't change?
Obama's hiring of Van Jones is not an indication that he continues to surround himself with extremists. It's unfair to continue to paint him with that brush just because he hires an extremist to help him carry out his agenda. You don't like Van Jones just because he's black. You must be a racist.
Obama was a people user and the people he ran around with were also users. You can believe that they'd turn around and put pressure on him and use him right back. Obama is Van Jones.

A lot of posters on here follow Glenn Beck and express concern as to why the rest of us do not "get it" when Beck goes on and on about radicals.
Here is a good example of why Beck should not be trusted. He has maligned an individual who has promoted deeply market-based solutions to sustainability. I realize this is from a liberal source, but the individual has worked with Jones for years. We should all recognize that these political entertainers - from Beck and Hannity to Olbermann need to twist facts for ratings:
The goal of marxism is to first break down society by destroying the pillars upon which it stands, including nationalism, religion, the family etc.
Obama promised fundamental change, but people didn't understand what he was promising. The break down of the pillars is under way.

Why not improve the well being of ALL people? Toxins are a problem to a lot of folks, including other racial and ethnic poor people, along with those who are middle class as well.
I'd also like to see a credible defense of Beck's accusations, which have been proven false. All I've seen so far are abstract accusations of socialist, which best I can tell is simply blaming him for seeing the world not working as well as it could.
Sorry, I missed the proof that the claims are false. Please point me to that.
The world will never work as well as it could. It never has. "Abstract accusations of socialist"? That may be true. Let's not accuse him falsely of being a socialist. No need to be that polite. Let's just call him a Communist, since he calls himself that.

Now, THAT's a great way to improve life for everybody, black and white, and to prove that one isn't racially motivated. How is that supporting Obama's professed goals of rising above hatred, petty bickering, partisanship and racial differences? Color of Change is actually increasing the racial divide.
I wouldn't be surprised if people start seeing a backlash.

Grammy, I notice that the libs are ignoring your post. The silence is telling.
Not much they can spin or twist here, so safer to ignore it, I guess.
