That seems factually incorrect. There is no general Constitutional requirement that programs enacted by Congress apply equally to citizens and noncitizens.
According to Judge Andrew Napolitano, if the Federal government insures anyone it must also insure illegales.
He says that Obama knows this (or should). To not insure illegals would be unconstitutional, according to the law.
Therefore, Obama is either stupid (which I doubt) or he is lying. He wants you to believe that illegals will not be covered.

In HR 3200 there is a section that says that the ability of someone to PURCHASE insurance can not be discriminated against based on status.. etc.
That means that if someone is going to purchase the public option... or any PRIVATE option, they can not be told that they can't do so.
What is the objection to someone PURCHASING.. PAYING For their own coverage!
The OBJECTION is if they GET said coverage WITHOUT paying for it.
Remember.. both private insurance plans AND the Public option are NOT (and the public option WILL NOT) be taxpayer funded.. as Obama mentioned in his speech last night.
That being said.. yes. illegal immigrants will continue to get medical attention if they seek it in ERs etc.. as they do now. WHat they won't have is comprehensive coverage unless they purchase it like the rest of us!

Please ask the judge for the names and ID of all of the illegal immigrants he knows that will come forth with proof of illegitimacies to get health care. That's one way to rid the country of these immigrants.

never mind that Trista...Today, last year, 10 years ago, someone just crossing the boarder CAN NOT go into the welfare office to apply for medicaid/medicare...Now maybe nonesense can answer the two part class quiz as to why? and if its illegal to restrict illegals from obtaining GOVERNMENT supplied medical coverage, why hasn't this reached the supreme court? tick tock
