These past few months of listening to the right wing has left me with one mantra that pops to mind over and over; "These people are nuts." That is the only explanation I can come up with for their totally ridiculous behavior and insane ideas. They're just nuts.
The part that seems to evade you is that Obama is the elected President of the United States whether you like it or not. Just by that simple fact he does deserve respect and our help. If you don't like it may I suggest you move to Iraq?

See, we don't work for the president or any other elected official. They work for us and are accountable to us. They would change relationship if they could get away with it, but, as you see, it ain't flying. The American people are as fired-up as I've ever seen, and we will not be pushed into a corner. This administration and the Democratic party generally are out of step with middle America and will return to minority status shortly because of that.
You do understand that Obama is going to talk about responsibility. That is a very scary word to conservatives. Why what if Obama expects the conservative parents to show a little personal responsibility. Ha what then?
That's why Obama should attack education before HealthCare. This country is plain stupid.
Well instead of "attacking' education your President rather give a lecture to 8-12 year olds who could really care less what their parents tell them nevermind the president and will forget about the speech the next day.
The used car salesman campaign continues. When one cannot stop talking it is evident they have no substance to back it up.

My concern over all of this is how America has "dumbed down" over the years. People think that what they read on the internet is truth, without vetting anything or making an effort to determine if what they have read is valid. It is the same for television. If Glenn Beck says it, it must be true. FOX says Obama is a socialist, so therefore it must be true. FOX says Obama is trying to brainwash our children, so therefore it must be true. The scary thing is, children in the US have a higher dropout rate than ever before, but if the President of the US wants to tell students to stay in school and strive for their dreams, we are too stupid to see the value there. I am really discouraged by the media, but even more discouraged to think that there are more people than not, that have no clue how to determine the validity of "news".
Great - In a country of over 300 million people, the CNN reporters hunt for one or two people that may have some emotional issues, and presents it as a mass movement if irrational thought.
Theres more left wing, liberal nuts frantic about the world ending tomorrow - why not show them?
It just shows what type of whacko, compulsive mental cases work for CNN.
Obviously you've have not met many left wing liberals!

Talk about whackos - Take a good look at some of the left-wing, liberals.
You know, the ones that get just about frantic over any criticism of Obama.
They are the ones who don't have spoiled brats for children - Their kids are autistic, and need special attention. Their kids have allergies to sesame seed, peanuts, and any other thing that will bring special treatment to their special children...Making a mockery of the children that are truly autistic, and truly have allergies.
Take a good look at the real "nuts" in our society.
