I think this topic should get far more air time.

I wish there were far more Ron Pauls out there.

Glad you like him so much. He voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment and believes that every state should have a right to define marriage however they want. Ideally, he said that the states should get out of the marriage business entirely.

I think Ron Paul is the ONE exception that I would vote for.

I dont like EVERYTHING he has to say but he seems to be good overall and have many loyal supporters.

The man is a legend! Even though I am one of his more left supporters disagreeing on some issues but willing to compromise, I think he is the greatest political figure in America today.

And I totally agree with him. Marriage is a religious institution, not a legislative institution.

Something doesn't add up, here. You've posted numerous times about how same-sex marriage is wrong and bad for children, giving the impression that you think the laws should be very involved in regulating marriage.

I used to disagree with him, but I didn't understand his message. The truth is, Ron Paul is basically a states rights man. He wants the federal government to only follow the mandates given to it through the federal government. To stay out of entangling alliances with other nations. To trade with other countries, but not go to war.

I never liked him originally because he didn't support healthcare reform or better energy policies. But I didn't understand his message at the time. I thought he was actually against healthcare reform. I thought he was against all government, that he almost preached anarchy.

But that wasn't what he was saying at all. He was only preaching that the federal government shouldn't be involved in these programs. The states have the rights to do whatever they want. Which is why he voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment.

Too bad the GOP doesn't support Ron Paul because if they did he could win the White House after Obama's second term.

It's refreshing to know Obama is already into his 2nd term. Time is moving by so quickly!

Haha I gotta say I hate most of your posts because you are as far left as it gets but I also love Ron Paul. Man this guy has supporters from every party and every walk of life. Why isn't he more well known?
