GEEZ! Just what the hell is this WH thinking? Objecting to incorrect stories being published, the very nerve

The NeoConfused continue to follow the philosophy ('borrowed' from Lenin) of their favorite druken Senator from Wisconsin: A lie told often enough becomes truth
I thought the olive dropper Ted Kennedy had the corner on the drunken Senator syndrome.

Nah! He can't hold a candle to the long lasting detrimental effect the drunk from Wisconsin continues to have on his party, the fear-mongering as policy continues to this day.

Everyone should be outraged, conservative, liberal, everyone. What really scares me is that they aren't. Blind sheep being lead by a malevolent Sheppard. Scary, scary, scary.

I'm scared. Scared of the SPAMbots and trolls like yourself that waste bandwidth.

Seriously... How hard is it to factcheck online?

Why do the mods let the same people SPAM over and over again?

One article claims teachers will lose a $250 tax break for supplies and the other claims this has been proven untrue.

What we should be outraged about is the difficulty in finding out what the truth is.

Um, the information in the article was false.

"A White House official told TPMDC the Reuters story was 'falsely stating that the President's budget raises taxes for middle class families, when in fact the opposite is true.'"

- Our budget explicitly calls for permanently extending the Bush tax cuts for households making less than $250,000.

- Our budget explicitly calls for allowing the top rate on dividends to increase to 20% for households making over $250,000.

- Our budget accounts for the cost of continuing the AMT "Patch".

The last administration's budgets ignored these costs, but we explicitly account for them. - Our budget extends expiring tax provisions through 2011.

Maybe you all dont remember the promise to call the liars out.

True, and that's intended and probably even planned for. They know the sheep will not research on their own and that they love and need the imaginary world created by the lies -- see the entire nutty first 1 1/2 pages of this very thread.

Fix TV does it constantly -- all they have to say, when caught, is "oops, tee hee, mistake." But the lie gets planted in that fertile stuff between the sheep's ears and the damage gets done, as intended.

Smart but evil.

When actual news groups pull false stories, they rectify the mistake. Something the FOX minions don't get to see very often.
