- Our budget explicitly calls for allowing the top rate on dividends to increase to 20% for households making over $250,000.

- Our budget accounts for the cost of continuing the AMT "Patch".

The last administration's budgets ignored these costs, but we explicitly account for them. - Our budget extends expiring tax provisions through 2011.

Nice deflection. Mind telling us how it is improper to request news agencies pull stories that are incorrrect? If you can't perform that simple little task, then I submit that this thread is DONE!!!

I would say the WH is likely to allow the tax cuts to expire, but they're trying to time it for after the elections to prevent total annihilation of its Dem majority. Until then, "mum's the word" and shut down any story trying to suggest it would do such a thing.

I submit that you open your eyes and realize you are a victim of the greatest con job in American history. That being the Presidency of Barack Obama.

What a simply disgraceful display by the usual cast of lying right-wing dingbats. Reuters pulled the story because they have enough integrity to retract statements that are proven to be false. At first, they thought they could simply rewrite the story and correct the inaccuracies. Then they realized that the entire premise was bunk, so they yanked it outright. If FOX News had as much integrity, they'd be broadcasting test patterns all the livelong day. If NewsMax, IBD, and the rest of the disinformation media had it, every single page on their sites would simply read "Under Construction". This thread is little more than a demonstration of how complete right-wing devotion and dedication to deliberate falsehood really is...

As of now, the article is incorrect. If they change the budget and allow the cuts to expire, they will write another article. This isn't that hard.

That'll happen before or after Obama takes your guns away? Before or after he puts the teapartiers into the Alex Jones prison camps?

I just want to know where it fits in the Pleasing Narrative.

I've never declared the other two will happen. Forget about elections...to take away the guns would put the government members' very lives at risk (ironically by the very guns they made illegal), same with throwing Alex Jones into a prison camp.

Letting tax cuts expire is a much more plausible scenario.
