I saw the episode last night, when Tom Cruise absorbed Mohammed's powers a giant "CENSORED" bar appeared on him, with the complementary bleeping. It was a plot device, but I think they should have went full through with showing him.

Chatteress, this is really not about making fun of religion. On the face of it, I would agree with you that it is in poor taste to poke fun at believers. But what is at issue here is FREEDOM and INTIMIDATION. Muslims will kill you if you disagree with them. That should not be allowed, period. Every media outlet should start a campaign of openly allowing their programs to make fun of Islam for the sole purpose of showing Muslims in our country that this intimidation crap will not be tolerated. Instead, everyone is rolling over, EVERYONE. Muslims grow bolder and bolder, and why shouldn't they, when they see that their threats work?
I was surprised to see Matt and Trey respond the way they did. Very disappointed in them, they probably should just pack it in if they are now going to allow certain groups to intimidate them.

I can understand why they may have personal concerns, but to be fair and ethical they probably should just shut down.

Because Islam and Muslims are nothing if they are not infested with hypocrisy and hate.

They are weasely, manipulative bullies. They always have been and always will be.

Take a good long look (read) of their history. It's riddled with violence, hate and blood.

Islam/Muslims operate under one main approach. They are aggressive, disrespectful and intolerant in their agenda of infiltrating, imposing and breeding their culture in every non-muslim culture/country al around the world.

They manipulate and bully everyone around them in their attempts, like a parasitic leaches, to weaken, disrupt and turn their host countries into Islamic cultures and nations.

Muslims can never truely live amongst non-muslims in peace and without their aggressive, disrepectful, imposing murderous appetite. It is their history. It is their agenda ...it is their way.

It is of no coincidence their history is riddled with conflict and large trails of blood.

Afterall, it is a religion born out of juvenile jealousy.

ANYONE who kills in the name of religion whether it be Christianity, Judaism, or Islam is not a true person of God!

And is it not ironic and sad that they all fail to comprehend that?

Yes it is. And it's unfortunate too, because so many peope get turned off from religion and God because of that. Religion unfortunately has been twisted by those who have an agenda, and use it for their personal gains. Not to stray from the topic too much, but the majority of these evangelists are no more better than radical Islam. Especially that knucklehead who said that the reason Haiti is so poor, and suffering was because their ancestors made a deal with the devil in order to free their occupation from France. Really??? When he could have been a true person of God, and asked to pray for those suffering in Haiti.

Getting back on topic. People need to seriously lighten up about religious, racial and other issues of this nature, and learn to laugh a little bit more. It really doesn't take that much effort, and would make the world a better place. South Park is a comedy! Plain and simple! And Matt and Trey have proven time and again that EVERYONE in EVERY walk of life is fair game for them to poke fun at. With all that, I find the show to be quite funny at times, and cannot wait to see this episode when it is on again.

I disdain all extremist religious bullies across the board. Not just Islam and it's Muslims. Just ask some of the people, here

They have all effectively squashed and destroyed the concept and essence of spirituality.

Spirituality is such a personal, inner thing; which should start with one's ability tom get in touch with oneself, resolves internal anguish and conflicts and from there ........let the positives vibes reach out to those around you; without even a mention of religion and gods.

Start there and maybe the human race can actually progress and get some where.

Something needs to be done about this. They need a taste of their own medicine and it needs to be harsh. They can't be allowed to continue their threats and bullying.
It is nothing but a cult of cowards and they need to be called out for exactly what they are. People need to stop defending them and call a spade a spade already.
