Rich Eisen really ticked me off in that game! Jerk kept going on and on about the RB on the Ravens (I don't even care enough to know his name) but was barely acknowledging Nick Chubb. Meh!
I still don't think Stefanski uses Chubb enough, which causes problems for any QB. And while I see improvement in Watson, I am looking for A LOT more...
Good win on Saturday. My hope is that the Browns win out and finish the season with a winning record, at least. They're not making the playoffs but it'll be nice to have some momentum going into next year. Watson is slowly improving, too.
Not sure what to do about Joe Woods, though. It's lunacy to call for Stefanski being fired (he deserves a full season with Watson before anything) but Joe Woods had the same problem this year as he did last year. The defense took over half the season to figure out how to play cohesively, when it should've been that way from the beginning.
YIKES!! Time to bring this thread up to date!! Cleveland 19 San Francisco 17, final
Week 5. Cleveland has been sitting at 2-2. I'm pretty sure Vegas had a sizable spread on this game with Frisco having the best record in the league. No matter. Cleveland hangs on for a 19-17 win with Frisco's 42 yard field goal attempt going wide at the end.
Jerome Ford 84 yards on 17 carries
Dustin Hopkins with 4 field goals.
And with a defense that allowed the 49ers 215 yards total.

Impressive win by Cleveland!!
Indeed. Browns really played well today, I'm glad for their fans.

I am a 49ers fan. Belated congrats to the Browns. The defense really did play lights out. Made Purdy look mediocre. Also, their offense made the timely plays. PJ Walker might be a backup, but he played just well enough to help get the win.
Maybe the Browns are trying to improve our cardiovascular capacities?
