BTW, I am ecstatic that Jerry Jones is getting killed in the media, blogs, and message boards right now. Everyone is letting him have it. Cowboy fans are finally getting tired of his decision making and his results. He is losing a generation of fans and he doesn't see it and I think the heat will turn up on him in the future.
I'm ecstatic as well! Jerry Jones definitely deserves every bit of the criticism that he's getting. As a lifelong Cowboys fan I would love to have an opportunity to tell him in person exactly how I feel about him, like George Costanza did on Seinfeld when he met George Steinbrenner for the first time...lol.
If you wanna see the Cowboys improve, quit buying tickets. As long as Jones gets the attention and money, he'll continue to live in a world of self-promotion and belief that he can do it. It's only when that sell out streak ends and the fans dictate that they want change badly enough to quit the habit, that he'll be forced to get someone qualified to improve the product.
just to carry on the common theme here...i've been mulling this over for quite some time now.
it really pains me to put this out here on the interwebs, but i feel it's time.
I'm officially no longer a Dallas Cowboys Football fan. More importantly, I'm no longer a fan of Jerry Jones. He is the common denominator for the past 16 years of mediocracy (at best). I'm not jumping on the next big bandwagon, but rather, I will enjoy multiple teams at the same time. I will try to just enjoy the game of football.
I've had it with trying to blame the coaches and players, when for all practical purposes, it all boils down to Jerry Jones. So, until Jerry Jones either retires or hires a legitimate GM, I'm done rooting for America's Team. I'm not spending a dime with anything related to the Dallas Cowboys, and I'll most likely root for whatever team is playing them.
This IS a nasty break-up. My mission from here on out is the demise of Jerry Jones...I'll still be posting up here, just consider me a Football fan...I won't be nasty, or troll this thread, but rather drop in to check the pulse of the fan's who decided to stick it out.
With that my friends, I'm gonna make like a baby, and head out...peace.

Bye baby... good riddance! We dont need you!!!
If you cant be a fan when we suck then you are not a fan!!! its easy to be a fan when we are winning... REAL fans are there through the good times and the bad.

You're right, you don't need me. I would have a snappy comeback, such as, what you really need is a legitimate GM, but i'll keep that to myself.

like i said earlier, if you're perfectly fine with mediocracy, at the very best, then keep shelling out your $$ to the Dallas Cowboys and talking them up around the water cooler.
