You know there is a salary cap in the NFL, this isn't Golden Corral buffet of all you can eat..........plus, it doesn't matter who you add if your franchise QB can't stay healthy. He is injury prone.
Really? I didn't know that.
Geez Louise! I was giving my opinion on specific players. I wasn't saying that all of it could, should or would be implemented.
As far as injury prone. Let's see what happens next season. If there is a big injury again then I will agree with you. Did you think McNabb was injury prone? He missed quite a few games two seasons in a row with injuries, 2005 and 2006. I wouldn't have called him injury prone.
The offensive line wasn't on the top of it's game most of Wentz's starts this year. He took a beating. That said, he has to start getting rid of the ball quicker as well.
I don't believe a word from that article's author, nor the unnamed sources.
I looked into this more after I read your post and the article and posted above. Current and former Eagles players have been taking to Twitter today after reading the article and claiming that it's complete nonsense.
The reason I said I didn't believe it, prior to seeing the Tweets, was because everything suggested in the article goes so far against the beliefs of Carson's A01 foundation that I could never believe him to be such a hypocrite.
After seeing Belechick shut down the Rams offense... probably should appreciate what Coach Doug did last year in staying one step ahead of the Pats defense.
