How is it splitting hairs to differentiate between a, say, 5 year old and a 16 year old?

When teens engage in sex, they are being selfish and not thinking of the consequences that their actions bring. I personally think that they age should be 18 and yes teens should get into trouble for sending explicit pics as well because if I had a daughter, you better believe that heads would roll if I found out she was either receiving or sending those types of pics.
I've been taking care of business since I was 15, meaning I made damn sure I didn't get pregnant.

Not all girls are stupid you know.

Most girls do have sex with their boyfriends, a lot of it, and remember to swallow that little pill every day, so you never find out about it.

As they say, it's only the "good girls" who get caught.

.

If you are a grown man, of over 21 years, it is grossly inappropriate to be hanging around a girl who is only 3 years into her first trainer bra.

Grown men tend to have daughters and young nieces, so very young girls should be treated with extra respect not extra drooling, in case someone notices and you get a reputation as a creep.

Think a grown woman making a play for a 16 year old boy. It's just wrong and inappropriate. 16 year olds are young, young, young, especially these days with the generation of cotton wool children coming through.

None of that is remotely related to the question that I asked.

Just because you "took care of business" doesnt make it rite and you still could have gotten pregnant. And for the pill remember thays if they have access to it and if the parents dont have the money who pays for it? Giving the girl the pill is like givingg her the ok to have sex. Its just wrong

Ahh...the 'it's just wrong argument'. Why is it just wrong?

Have you asked yourself why you so strongly feel the need to justify sexual attraction to young girls? I feel this is a legitimate question. What is your stake in all this, personally? Because that's important. It's important to the question in general and to adults' attitudes in general toward the potential sexuality of very young people.

Rather than attempting to justify (possibly?) your own feelings as appropriate, you may want to look inside and ask yourself why you want that justification and whether that's appropriate and fair toward the potential young girls in question, or whether it just fills a need you yourself, an adult who is presumably in control, have. Which is more important? That's an honest question. Not everyone will say the child is more important.
