Perhaps you could be right if by "teen" you mean under 17, or you meant they don't admit they have an attraction to at least some 17-19 teens (not that they'd act on this or talk about it)

but....

no....
no, no, no, no, no
No, by "teen" I mean anyone under the age of 20. My male friends are attracted to women who are above the legal drinking age. They will talk about how attractive college-age women are, but that's as young as it gets.

Given that the 20s are the new teens, I'd say sex before you're 21 is stupid. So no, 16 is not an appropriate age of consent. Maybe if that 16 year old had responsibilities and lived on their own, but not otherwise.

most ppl are 17-18 when they enter college in your country. a good portion of undergrads are teens. actually that's one of the things i was thinking of when you made your absurd comment. a friend of mine from HS recently went back to college. the first thing i have heard everyone say to him is congratulate him on having easy access to all the young college girls.

Well, they're attracted to girls under 20. They might not want to date them...but they're probably attracted to them unless they're gay or asexual. If this were something that could be bet on, I'd bet any amount of money that I'm right. No offense again.

and that's perfectly normal for men to be physically attracted to teenagers past a certaint age of puberty or so...probably not to date them, but to be attracted to them. It's also normal for 95 year old men to be attracted to them. We're gross, yes.

ALL the asexuals you've met? Sounds like a lot. That's interesting, because asexuality is pretty rare. What a rarified world you live in.

So, now you're giving faodi grief for his use of the word 'all' and earlier you were stating that there was no reason to discriminate between the words pedophile and ephebophile.

Not the point. I don't think foadi really knows more than one or two asexuals, if any at all. I think he's just dismissing as asexual anyone who doesn't partner up. Just as he dismissed as asexual any guy who doesn't get hot and bothered at the sight of a 16 yr. old girl.

Should makeup, high heels, boob jobs, short skirts, polished nails and cleavage also be 'banned' until a girl is 21?

All this stuff is used for one main reason....to attract men.
