Interesting. I woke up today with a note from 23andme which is where I got my DNA tested (and subsequently found out that I'm absolutely the whitest person I've ever met, but that's another story), and they told me that of my DNA relatives on 23andme (and apparently I have TONS of distant cousins out there), we as a group are 14 percent MORE likely than other folks to think that cilantro tastes like soap (actually I don't personally think it does but I've always been a rebel).

I dropped half my bunch of cilantro on my sisal rug last night and then I had to try to pick out little leafy bits from a very coarse rug since I didn't want to vacuum up that moist, leafy cilantro. (Moist and cilantro in ONE sentence!? Ha! Controversy!)
I stood in the kitchen and screamed, "Manservant! Adult! Someone else... anyone else but me... clean this moist, leafy cilantro up, please?" But, alas, no one came to my aid. So I cleaned up the moist, leafy cilantro from the coarse sisal rug. Then I took to my bed after enduring the hardship of the moist, leafy cilantro cleanup.

Centipede grass from the neighbors is invading the lower part of my front lawn (bermuda). Their weeds tried that first, but I was victorious over them. My mission this summer is to eradicate the centipede.

I am devastated. The elastic on my very favourite fitted sheet is now losing its elasticity and won't stay on the bed properly. So I have to go and look for those little clip/straps I have, somewhere in the house. I've used them so infrequently I don't know where I would even store them. And my husband just doesn't understand my pain over this. He doesn't even care if there are sheets on the bed, let alone have favourite ones.

I have SO many purses and credit cards that sometimes I leave the house without the right card. Because it's in a different purse. And then I get to the store and have to use a DIFFERENT credit card that won't give me gas station points.

I made a spinach pie yesterday. Now my biceps are so huge like Popeye's that I can lift large boulders and whatnot. AND I took a multivitamin!

I bought myself a new coffee go cup. It has just enough features but is not too complicated. Twice since I bought it I have filled it with fresh hot coffee, and then left without it for the day.

Our dogs stank. So we washed them - and then they smelled like wet dogs, which also stinks. And then after they dried off (after shaking water all over us), they still smelled weird and we realized that their hot, fetid, humid dog breath is a significant part of the dog stank issue.

We recently changed their dog food from cheap dog food to expensive, apparently better quality dog food. Yes, they do look better and apparently feel GREAT, but now their breath smells funny. Hmmmmm....

My laundry soap is no longer available at Dollar General, so I have to go find a new one that's both affordable and doesn't contain crap additives.

Why does taking stuff out make things cost more?
