That is too funny. I can totally see it though.

I think somebody's pulling your leg. I was there right after she left but worked for some of the same professors she studied with...
As far as I know...she worked at Hank's Ice Cream

I know Andy Griffith was mentioned years ago on this thread as living on the coast. Reminded me of my favorite scene from that sweet series.

There's a surprising number of pro athletes who make the Triangle home. Besides the obvious hockey players. A good number of NBA and NFL players live in the area, although there is no team. I know of at least one guy who plays for the Browns or Ravens who lives near Wake Forest. I think some of the NBA players have ties to ACC schools.

A good number of FORMER Hurricanes players have decided to make the Triangle their home. I think they like being able to gold year round and the cost of living isn't as bad as many other pro markets.

There are two "designers" from HGTV in Raleigh.

Which two designers from HGTV? On TLC's Trading Spaces, there was Edward Walker (love him) and Hildi Santos-Thomas. I thought Hildi lived in Paris part time? I didn't think she lived here anymore. Not sure about where Edward lives. I read he lived in a circa-1968 home (like me) somewhere on the outskirts of Raleigh...but I read that a while ago.

Edward Walker owns a very unassuming 1950's brick home in east Raleigh. I would LOVE to see the inside!

He used to have a wedding gown business. Does he still? My daughter will be needing one soon.
