If the police were called 2 or 3 times a night and I'll bet plenty times during the day, why did they not ticketed for running a business in a residential zone?

Protection was in place.
Look for Krispy Kreme crumbs in the basement...
I cannot imagine it taking that long for the police to charge the owners for running an illegal business.
I agree...there is something more to this story. Not sure what, but something. Just WAY too many people attending these "parties" to fly under the radar for so long. It's not like 2,000 people (if that number is to be believed) just hid when the police showed up (along with their cars, motorcycles, etc).
And the neighbor...
I knew something was fishy, but I stuck around.
I knew there were lap dances, but I stuck around.
I knew there was drugs and drinking, but I stuck around.
Either the story was poorly written or there is more to it.

Who admits they went to the hookah room and didn't call the cops?
