I agree. The maps of the US are good but this is a great visual. Hopefully not rain and cloudy that day.

Been searching for 6 weeks. 4 more places in Wilmington....2 walmart and 2 lowes....i can add them to the 20 or so places in raleigh. I am sitting in the walmart parking lot on wake forest having just struck out again here. Where can i find glasses in raleigh?

Local place (preferably in Wake county) to buy eclipse viewing glasses

Do you have something against going to Chapel Hill? haha - that was the first place I brought up and you've gone everywhere but there.

I heard the Natural Science museum in Raleigh has them as well.

I ordered a 5 pack of eclipse glasses from B&H Photo and chose UPS ground. I ordered them last night, they've already been shipped, and UPS tracking says they will be here on the 17th. I paid $22.50 for five pair, which includes $9.55 for shipping.

You lucked out.
Currently they're backordered, BUT they do say they expect them Aug 17th and you can overnight UPS it for delivery in time for the eclipse:

"More on the Way
Expected availability: Aug 17, 2017"

Maybe I have trust issues but there is no way I would trust glasses to protect my eyes from eclipse damage.
Sure hope kids are protected from looking at the eclipse without protection.
