Does it really live up to the hype? What did u have there? I ate at Mia Francesca last Friday evening and walking by Bartaco at only about 6pm it was packed out the door!

Bartaco is quite good, when we went the music as too loud but other than that the food and service were really good. Be prepared to wait if you go at the wrong time, and I don't know when the right time is, it's always packed.

We got a variety of their tacos and the corn on the cob. I had the shrimp and fish which were both great. The tacos are small, so you probably need 3-4 for a meal, but I thought they were delicious. The corn was really good too. We took my young daughter, but I’d probably say it’s best without kids although they do have a good kids menu.

I'm the only person I know who doesn't get the Bartaco hype.

Not many options on the menu; tacos are small and usually cold. IDK I wasn't impressed. I'd rather go to Monterry and get a full meal for less money and faster service. That's what I did tonight with some of my friends from my old job....much more fun than my experience at Carolina Brewery last night!

I went to Brewery Bhavana for dinner tonight. Food is overpriced and not as great as the traditional Cantonese dim sum I’m used to but still pretty good (I mean it’s cooked well and tastes good but there are small nit picky things that aren’t perfect). The atmosphere is incredible and I love what they’ve done with the place. Beer is good and reasonably priced.

Doesn't have to be milky. I don't like that. Yaya has a variety of tea-based bubble teas with no milkiness at all. I love the Peach/Lemon/White Tea they have.

Bartaco — like the food. Hate the level of noise. I can stand some loudness in a restaurant, but they turn the music up to club levels so you have to shout to your table companions. It's loud enough that it makes me not want to go back, but I did love the food.

I do't do hype myself , we were nearby and got seated in 15 minutes. It's not a place like I would usually go for a single burrito and be satisfied, and I liked the variety, it wasn't that expensive.

Of the 4 different tacos I had I really liked three, and had that corn thing people rave about but I don't recommend it, the ceviche was great. We got served right away and the food came remarkably fast. Our server was really good, turns out she was a trainer from Connecticut.

To poppydog's point, then next time we go it will be to the outdoor seating, not only too loud inside, it was too cold, two major demerits for me. I'm also not one for "scene" places so would probably go back when the newness dies down.

We also went to Viva Chicken, not bad but prefer Mami Noras. We didn't care for Kai, there's no Japanese staff there, and it wasn't bad but nothing special.
