You did good Capt Chill. I don't think a weatherman even talked about a possibility of NC til a day or so after you did. Greensboro got 5 inches so not too far from the triangle.

Once again our over dramatic media,force feeding us terror in the form of such a HUGE storm,turned out to be zippo!I watched them "on location" this morning pointing at a wet road,as they struggled to find a morsel of snow,all while advising me to not come out,stay home lock my doors,and by all the milk I can.Gotta love the news!

Poor forecasters! They can't forecast the future! Fire 'em all!

(Nobody can forecast the future. They can only make educated guesses.)

And I'd much rather they err on the side of caution.

I thought they their general forecast was accurate. They said it would hit north of here. It did.

for what it's worth fishel didn't say we would see a snowstorm in Raleigh.
