trick is great veggies/meat/bones/seasonings and just plain old water and simmer for hours and let sit a day. I hate using canned/boxed broth unless in a pinch.

I made a terrific turkey veg. soup today in the crockpot. It's in the fridge, waiting for lunch tomorrow, melding its flavors. The broth was so rich. Anyway wanna drop by???

Come on here-I just made a huge stockpot of beef veggie soup with browned beef shanks, onions,leeks,carrots,celery,zucchini, parsnips, yukon gold pots., nany bella mushrooms, fresh green beans, stew meat, fresh parsley and thyme and it smells awesome
