Does anyone have a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie recipe? I want to cann some up this year.

I went to Salvation Army, Goodwill, and another used store...... not ONE JAR !!!!!! Michigan is hitting the canning pretty hard ...... even if you can find them used they want pretty close to FULL price and they get it too !
I think I sold mine $5 per dozen on the quarts I still have some but I wanted to keep those for tomato products mostly.

I haven't canned for years but I have made jams, jellys, orange marmalade, apple butter, salsa, dilly beans, bread and butter pickles, applesauce, plus I used to dehydrate fruits and make fruit leather and beef jerky.

they are at least $7.50 for pints here. Quarts are higher, so I am with you, we wish we could get them for $6 or so. A sidenote: I was about to make crame marinera sause yesterday and found out I am already out of tomato sause. I ended up using a pint of commercial chopped tomatoes. It was good, I just didn't realize I was that low and we have 3 months before the canning season is with us..

I like the 24 oz. jars as well; they're good for sauce, tomatoes and pie fillings.

The 12 oz. jelly jars are good, too; I use them for salsa and applesauce.

The different sized jars look cool in the pantry; plus I have so many hand-me-down jars from long-gone brands like Hazel-Atlas of all shapes and sizes.

I think a 1.5 pint would work for me for some things, but I still will continue to use pint jars the most..
