What a shame that the innocent little baby does not meet your standards.

And what's annoying is how mothers fish for compliments for their baby.

I hate when mothers fish for compliments for their baby, just like miu above...

But as long as you don't get fished for a compliment, don't say anything. A if you are you fished for one, remember that looks isn't everything. there are other compliments to give... I usualy just go with "what a wonderful child" even if I hate the damned scream-box of a poop-machine.

Peoples babies is one of the few times I lie, because people are sensitive about it. Though I think my resentment for kids do show through my words... but at least I can try acting a little polite...even if it's really not my thing.

Maybe a simple click on the picture's "Like" button on your friend's FaceBook would be enough. If she has enough FaceBook "friends" commenting on her baby, then she's not going to notice that you didn't post a compliment.

Really? Where do these stupid questions/posts come from? Do you just sit around trying to come up with the most inane question you can think of?

The ugly baby,... another Seinfeld episode! It's amazing to me how many of lifes little foibles they captured on that show! I miss it!
And yes, we mothers know when our babys are not attractive. I had one of those. He looked like an alien. But, he is now an extremely good looking kid. So, ya just never know!

It is uncouth to make disparaging remarks about a baby. I mean, are you that pathetic? Seriously.

Just say ''congratulations for your child'' and don't add anything. Yes there are certain babies with unattractive appearances but to the parents or other family members, they'll be beautiful no matter what.
In general babies look like teddy bears, you just want to squeeze their faces (gently off course) and then just see them smiling. Ok that's just about it.... when comes the crying and annoying parts.

Judging beauty comes from the heart and not the eyes especially when it comes to that of an innocent child. It is also more about the beauty of giving life and experiencing the joy of a friend and feeling it in your heart. Surely you have heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? You got a rough road ahead with such an attitude and I don't envy you.
