Is "OOOH BABY" any different or any less creepy now that you mention it?
Back when we were dating, DH and I both said that. Turned out both developed that habit for the same reason - so we wouldn't have to worry about screwing up and calling out the wrong names...
But, "Ooooh Daddy" - um, NO.
The only time I call him "Daddy" is when we are in a room with our children, or talking to them on the phone.
I don't even call my own father "Dad or Daddy.' One of his girlfriends always used to say to me "Your Daddy this.' and 'Your Daddy that...." Made me cringe. Call someone else that? OH Hell NO!
I've had guys ask me to call them that. I prefer not to because I call my own dad "Daddy" and it's just weird for me. Calling your father "Daddy" is a southern thing, but otherwise...no.
I think the reason some women and men like it is because of the power dynamic - not because it conjures thoughts of their parent.
While I agree that it's a little weird, I don't agree that it's necessarily creepy. I mean, it could be, but it could just be that she comes from a different place and that maybe in a former relationship it was done so she's carrying on. She probably doesn't call her father daddy so she hasn't really made the connection. And in her mind it could be the equivalent of "Oh wow" or "Oh man." When we're saying "Oh man" do we really stop and conjure up the image of a man? I know that I don't.
Does any man actually find this attractive? I think women think it's a "hot" thing to say during sex, but it just kind of skeeves me out. Why would you want to think of your parents when I'm having sex with you? That's just gross. Not hot. I'm not your dad, I'm having sex with you. And if you get those two things confused, there's a little more to worry about than how creeped out I feel.
Women, have you ever said this? Why?
Men, do you actually think this is hot?
I think it's creepy, yeah, along with the whole "little girl" thing, but obviously some men like it very, very much.
she told me a story of when she accidently walked in on her parents having sex and one thing rang true throughout her explanation of that experience. She seemed extremely jealous and envious of having seen that - and had ongoing issues of resentment toward her mother involving alot of things.
Weird.
I once for a second or two saw my step-dad nude after he had stepped out of the shower in the downstairs bathroom...he didn't hear me come in from the front door ( 99% of the time I come in using the backdoor ) and had left the bathroom door downstairs open a bit..
Only thing I thought to myself was.....
No wonder mom is always smiling in the morning...
