4. Several women saying they made or make more than their husbands;
5. #4 above being ignored, OR told they're in the extreme minority, with exaggerated anecdotes to "prove" it (usually about "someone somebody knew once");
6. A number of strawmen saying "Well if a guy were homeless, didn't have a high school diploma and asked you out to the fights using your car because he only has a bicycle, would you go? No? See, you DO care about how much a man makes!",
7. A bunch of women starting to get upset at basically having been called liars or having been conveniently ignored (or having been passed up as "rare"),
8. The biggest of the "life isn't fair to men" guys finally coming out of the woodwork, emboldened by having seen enough other guys break that ground first, and bringing out the big guns (severely insulting remarks about women stated as truth);
9. The thread mercifully dying a natural death only to be brought back 6 months later by a noob who did a search.
10. Repeat steps 1-9 above.

Okay. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's a wrap.
That would kind of make it like the pursuit thread right?

I'll weigh in anyways. lol I want to marry a rich woman. Thats right, line up two women and all other things being equal but one makes bank and one is dirt poor and I'm taking the rich one every time. Seems like common sense to me.

That's your problem right here! You're looking for common sense. This forum is not driven by this old-fashioned and almost extinct thingie.

Sadly, gold digger is probably the nicest thing I can say about my mom.

Of course we want to marry a rich man, who doesn't? Realistically? Probably not going to happen.

The OP made a big mistake. Women don't want a rich husband. We want a rich GENEROUS husband.

Well, I hate to say this, but there may some truth to this as more of my female students are looking for that. They do want careers, though, but be able to have the luxury of giving them up when the time comes for a family. They want to stay home and be moms and not worry about working and raising children; but they also want to find someone who will be a life partner. I think this rising generation just has had enough with divorces, stress of single parent homes, and blended families.

Just passing along what I hear being discussed at my high school.
