I LOVE to dance!! However, I am having a hard time finding someone to go dancing with me, or even friends my age who even want to go out and dance

And my last experience was over the summer with a bunch of Asian ladies. We were all dancing to a live band and dj when he took a break. I was dancing and this cute guy asked me to dance. It was nice until he told me to spin around so he could grind! I am not grinding! Too old for that shat! And I do real dancing. Not just that crap.

Thought of this post when I saw this video. Love this vid, can't tell my sisters of all colors can't get down on the floor. So fun to watch. Not sure why they called it zumba, but enjoy.

Wasn't there a Seinfeld episode where a guy was hitting on Elaine, then she started dancing and he kinda fled lol

Oh gosh, that was one of my favorite episodes. I don't think I ever laughed so hard when and after that dance scene first aired.

Can't dance on a dance floor.

Can't be the centre of attention, not comfortable with it.

I know what you mean. I'm a horrible dancer.

It’s situational, it's the whole “look at me” thing, that’s really uncomfortable.

At a massive open air concert, maybe.

I LOVE dance music (everything from eurodance to happy hardcore to African stuff), but have NEVER been to a club.

For one thing, Duluth is extremely lacking in the nightlife department. Back when I was younger (I'm getting a little ripe for the club scene at 25!), there was Stargate, Grandma's, and Splash Beach Club. All the clubs played "bump and grind" rap music (even Splash, which was 14+), as dance music was not at all popular in the U.S. at that time. I had no interest in the 50 Cent kind of stuff they played back then.

Another was that I typically traveled alone, and it's awkward walking into a club all by yourself. Another was that I can't dance. Another was that I typically view dance clubs as places of immorality. Etc. etc. etc.
