So true. The problem is that everybody wants to be rich, they want a job that is prestigious, and they want to sit in a aircon office looking pretty so people flock to white collar jobs and do whatever it takes to get one (i.e, college).
Nothings wrong with wanting to be rich...but is that the only measure for success in this world?
In most women's eyes, money (or at least the potential to make a certain amount of money) is the measuring stick for success. I realize everyone's measuring stick for success is different, but money is the universally accepted standard.

No, it's not the only measure. Sure, it's financial success, but that's not the only kind, and I don't find a man/woman to be successful if s/he's not leaving her/his community better than s/he found it.

This is quite stupid, considering most things that effect communities are beyond the control of individuals, much less their cohorts.

First off, regarding the "this is stupid portion", please don't squat over my posts and take whatever emotional shyte that may stir in your psyche while online. Keep it, swallow it, do whatever you want with it (but give it to me). I don't want it. Maybe your mother does.
Anyhow, any member in a community that benefits from another speaks to the success I'm thinking of. If your work doesn't help anyone in any way, then I don't find it, and subsequently you, to be successful. All the money in the world doesn't change that.

Don't talk about my mother. Try to be a grown up. Your comment was stupid, own up to it.

Perhaps it's stupid to you because you bring nothing to the table. I'm not alone in valuing good works. Human beings historically value good works. That you are unaware of this speaks to your own stupidity.

LoL your stupidity shows, you talk about my mother and then try to talk about what "I bring to the table". I didn't know you had been by my side, my whole life.
"Good works" is a highly subjective term.
