People in sales are a turn-off for me. At first glance they are smooth talkers, charming, gregarious which are nice qualities that easily suck you in, until you realize they are probably doing it to YOU as well. I'd pass on anyone that works on commission if I were single.

I like power positions though (CEO, VP..). I find the alpha in the working world intriguing, probably because I am the polar opposite of that personality type.

I agree on the saleman types..... I LOATHE AND DESPISE sales people... sorry to be so harsh....

I just don't like people who are slick, and worse yet, think they are slick..... the worst kind of saleman.

The best kind of salesperson is the ones that have a better understanding of how people tick..... but I suppose that is same too, they are just sneakier about it...

I hate saleman so much in fact, that when were looking to have to get a new car last yr, and the thought of dealing with those sharks just made me pissed thinking about it.... matter of fact I'm getting pissed typing this..... LOL

I was and still am a groupie so I always found musicians hot as well as baseball players. Dated musicians but never any baseball players.

I find engineers to be very sexy, and mechanics. However, for me the absolute hottest profession to me are contractors. A man who knows how to build a house? HOT. My version of porn are some of those shows on HGTV with the cute, muscular dudes wielding hammers and tearing down walls and stuff like that....yum.

My first wife was a CPA, my second a SSG in the US Army. I want my SO to be doing whatever she wants to make her life the most fulfilling.

I gravitate towards mechanics and carpenters, or other guys that tend to work with their hands in jobs that require a certain amount of skill. I find those types of jobs interesting and useful. I tend to run screaming from people in law enforcement, sales or the financial industry (even though I work in the financial industry and have some great colleagues). Logically, I think engineers should be my sweet spot, but most of the ones I have encountered have seemed a little too cerebral or out of touch with their emotions - I tend to be just too messy for them in terms of my personality (ADD kind of makes me a little scattered in my thoughts and not very methodical in my actions.).
