I know it was a bad idea, but I got sucked in.

I need to start going to bed earlier.

And as an update, my cousin just posted (quite literally 15 minutes ago) a picture of her pretty new engagement ring. She's 19.

Bah. I'm buying a yurt.
They can't be that great if they're attracted to and want to be married to immature drama queens. Later on down the road there will be issues.

Also getting married at 19 is ****ing stupid, period.

Well, they obviously saw something in these women that caused them to want to marry them. Obviously they have something I don't.

And they're just engaged, they won't get married for another year or two at least. She's on the 'churchy' side of my family.

This is just stinkin' thinkin' and it doesn't help you at all. I know I say this all the time - but look in front of you, NOT BESIDE YOU!!!

You are on your own path and that's all that matters. There is always going to be someone who is more beautiful, more successful, has more money, is more talented, is smarter, etc. than all of us. Dwelling on that only causes harm. Just focus on yourself and you'll be much happier.

Why?
Isn't seeing what people are doing one of the main purposes of Facebook?
That's what I use mine for.

Turns out, all the 'mean girls' who made my life hell in high school are happily married with kids. The ones who slept around, the ones who had kids in high school, the druggies etc. One had just announced her engagement and she was absolutely HORRID throughout high school and afterwards..made her poor Mother's life a living hell while she was dealing with cancer. But hey, THEY all got married!

I just don't get it.
Just look at them five years down the line. If they are as bad as you say they are, their husbands won't be having it that long.

Most of them have been married for well over 5 years.
