Why wouldn't he just say "When can I take you out?" It's completely classless to badger someone who hasn't asked take YOU out, especially if you're not already in a relationship.

Ok...how much money do you think someone needs to make to plan a date? lol 50K sounds adequate.

In chicagoland, 50K is nowhere near the income most people around here want to make.

Also, when looking for a serious relationship, 100K is pretty much the minimum unless true love occurs or if they met though friends or family.

50K is more than enough to plan any kind of fun date. I used to plan great dates on part time work while in college supporting myself.

I get the vibe the OP simply doesnt want to plan the date. It is a very common mindset around here. Men are supposed to do most the date planning early on. I imagine its luke this almost everywhere, but who knows.

OP, help me understand this...

HE asks you out on a date
You go on the date
Now he is asking you to plan the next one?

I don't know, I think the first couple of dates should be initiated by the person who approached.

Yeah, I'd think 50K would be enough to do something. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, but surely there's a happy medium between a steak dinner and the McDonald's dollar menu.

By the way OP, "when are you taking me out?" sounds like he wants you to pick him up AND pay.
